I propose we don't let newbies vote in the next election. Because then we get

A) People creating new usernames

B) Pro Evo

C) Pro Evo

D) People who don't know what they're talking about making the decision

E) Pro Evo

If you let newbies vote this time, we'll get Natbuc or someone as notable. Don't let them, and it'll be someone good like Mr Happy.

Did you not read the description of what a Notable is?
They "are what make the forums what they are" or some other soppy crap.
Someone doesn't have to know about games to be a Notable.


Guy for Notable

If people were to vote for people who actually knew about games then the list of 'potential' notables would be shortened alot.

The biggest shock I've had whilst being here is the amount of people that come onto a gaming forum yet know so little about gaming.

Apart from er-no who should have his gold name darkened for emphasis.

So would you rather we all voted for Guy instead of you?

Doesn't seem like any reason to me... because observing the behaviour of certain "regulars" here, it seems you're all prone to a bit of multiple username disorder. I don't see how that doesn't apply to regulars and notables, as they're just as capable, and as motivated to create new usernames just to vote people they want as notable. Lets ban EVERYONE from voting for notables, why don't we?

Nope... I'd find myself inclined to vote for someone else who conducts themselves in a civilised manner, posts interesting topics, and isn't a self-involved moron than just picking someone based on popularity amongst regulars - which lets face it, is all your doing.

My criteria for choosing someone I'd vote for as notable is listed above, I'd say its altogether a wiser way of voting than the bunk you're coming out with here. I'll also point out, that as a "Newbie" I've been a member of UKChatforums longer than a fair number of regulars, take a look at my days registered. So your nice little generalisation really holds no sway with me, as I'm quite aware of who is who (or at least who likes to THINK they are "who"), as I am sure a lot of "Newbies" are around here.

Snuggly didn't seem all that pleased at the end of the last elections. Something about people creating new accounts to vote again...

So take away the newbie vote.

I deserve my gold name.

Nobody else does.
