If you let newbies vote this time, we'll get Natbuc or someone as notable. Don't let them, and it'll be someone good like Mr Happy.
Discuss.

Ooh, tough one. I'll let you know after the election. :)
Vote Guy Pearce. And Me. And Mr Happy. And Sibs. And Mystique. And Sheepy. And er-no.
They "are what make the forums what they are" or some other soppy crap.
Someone doesn't have to know about games to be a Notable.
Guy for Notable
The biggest shock I've had whilst being here is the amount of people that come onto a gaming forum yet know so little about gaming.
Apart from er-no who should have his gold name darkened for emphasis.

I trust in Guy. He surely should choose. He is the wisest of all beings. You, see in the beginning, the elves forged Three Rings of Power. But they were all of them decieved, for in his fortress at L.A Police Station, Guy forged in secret The One Ring.
This is why he should choose.

Amen to that...
and Sibs is right.

Doesn't seem like any reason to me... because observing the behaviour of certain "regulars" here, it seems you're all prone to a bit of multiple username disorder. I don't see how that doesn't apply to regulars and notables, as they're just as capable, and as motivated to create new usernames just to vote people they want as notable. Lets ban EVERYONE from voting for notables, why don't we?

Nope... I'd find myself inclined to vote for someone else who conducts themselves in a civilised manner, posts interesting topics, and isn't a self-involved moron than just picking someone based on popularity amongst regulars - which lets face it, is all your doing.

Bit bold saying that, especially when you're writing this post. ;)
My criteria for choosing someone I'd vote for as notable is listed above, I'd say its altogether a wiser way of voting than the bunk you're coming out with here. I'll also point out, that as a "Newbie" I've been a member of UKChatforums longer than a fair number of regulars, take a look at my days registered. So your nice little generalisation really holds no sway with me, as I'm quite aware of who is who (or at least who likes to THINK they are "who"), as I am sure a lot of "Newbies" are around here.
So take away the newbie vote.
Nobody else does.
:D
America's army is quite fun.
and free.
The only problem is that the best people at the game will also be the worst people at the real thing. So much for the propaganda coup.
