i read nom mainly cos there official. i dont usually read the reviews, but the fact it's official, logically means they will have the more new stuff. and i am more fammiliar with them. swithching magazines would disorientate me, as i have a good idea of how they rate them. althought, i wish they rated the game by 100%, cause that gives a more acurate description. somebody wrote into them saying this and they made the stupid comment that why dont they rate them out of 1000%? or 10000%. idiots.

Haven't bought NOM in ages. NGC (or N64 if you want to be 'old skool' about it...) is generally much more intelligently written. And I find the scores are more realistic too. NOM gave that South Park game on the N64 90%+ didn't they? It was utter pants.
The layout's changed and everything, much more professional, and if I had to make a criticism it would be the WWE stuff. They have two pages every issue dedicated to WWE!
NOM, if you're reading, it's a games magazine! Replace that section with a release dates list, as the lack of one is a serious let down to the magazine.

Yes they have. But only because people like Sega are making games for the GC. They even called a PS2 game excellent. Now that is a different tune.

Anyway, I've been thinking about this lack of Rare games and it might have a reason. Apart from the fact their games are huge and detailed, perhaps Rare will head the line up for Nintendo's second year.
Nintendo are throwing all their big name franchises into the first year and then once with played through them, Rare will steal the limelight with a set of franchises of their own.
By the way, last I heard was that NOM had matured a bit - no more of this "greystation poo" crap.
