Imagine if rare told us it'd be a new multi-format game though?
The only titles that aren't ports, sequels or spin-offs (with familiar characters - eg, luigi's mansion) that have really intersted me are smb, pikmin and eternal darkness. And kameo, for the vague outlines we've seen. That's all i can think of now anyhow.
Where's the originality gone?
Either Perfect Dark, Jet Force Gemini or a brand new franchise altogether.
Well, on rare's site it has a gba banjo game in the future releases. Has grunty in it too, i believe.
I don't know any more though, so you'd have to look for yourself.
Still, releasing a dk racing game too close to mario kart would seem like quite a bad idea. Especially if mario kart would be one of the first wave of internet-playable games, providing lessons for dkr to learn before going the same way. Just a thought on why it disappeared.
I loved those games on the NES and SNES.
