After being given a copy of Parachutes it seems to me that there's very little variety in what they do, most of their songs sound very similar.
Even the new one, In My Place, sounds like it could have been pulled from the Parachutes album. Can they do nothing that sounds different?
Radio 1 DJ's are trying to promote the record, get it to number 1, but it's really not that good.

I TOTALY agree with you tiltawhirl.
Download Shiver, from Parachutes. Cracking song.
Good Luck to them... better than a lot of stuff out there.

Yeah, my two mates saw them opening for someone at a concert or something. Then they saw them on one of the music channels (their first vid) so Wal went into HMV and asked for their album. They stared at him with blank faces. One week later, they were all the rage with their album everywhere. And HMV claim their staff are "in the know"

You realise of course, by metioning one of the demon spawns greatest vomit bands, youve doomed yourself to an eternity of bottom munching agony?

Same as The Strokes.
I haven't really heard much else from them, and I don't really like that new song for some reason.
I've also heard they're pretty good live too.
Seen them live on TV a few times. :)
