While I'm in the U.S I thought I might as well do a little report thread for anything I find out or see on X-Box that might interest some of you. :-)

Anyway, I've seen the controller S in the shops and it looks pretty good. :-) Haven't held it yet but I had a good look at it (damn plastic packaging !)
It looks nice. :-) I'm hoping to maybe pick it up sometime soon - just gotta watch the cash right now. Its $30 so hopefully I'll be able to grab one. :-)

I've already mentioned I saw Morrowind and a couple of NFL games. Theres also some preview boxes for games like Knights of the Old Republic so I've been drooling over those. ;-p

Anyway, My gf is singing a song with lyrics such as "shoot me in the head" and "kill me now, get off my computeeeer". I'm guessing thats my signal that I should be giving her some attention now. ;-))

Crazy Taxi 3 will be the definitive version of the Crazy Taxi series, especially if you've never played Crazy Taxi before.

All the cities will have multiple customers and the cabs will be able to do the crazy hop - these two additions make Crazy Taxi much better because short-cuts come much more into play which gives the game longevity.

Crazy Taxi is a pure and addictive high-score game - people who say it's shallow are missing the point. It's all about mastering the controls and gaining an indepth knowledge of the cities and the best customers and improving your dollar count.

It is slightly disappointing that there is no multiplayer though.

IGN gave Blood Wake 8.4 and only gave CT3 6.5 - ridiculous!

I don't trust reviews. Most reviews will tell you that CT1 is better than CT2. Now as a hard-core Crazy Taxi fan I can tell you for certain that CT2 is much better than CT1 - better cab control, multiple customers, millions of short-cuts made CT2 superior. True Crazy Taxi fans know this to be the case.

Unreal Champ and KOTOR boxes? They are Xbox Live titles so surely they won't be out untill at least november(thats when XboxLive is slated for).

Have you seen any XboxLive promotion yet? Are people aware that its coming? Ask next time your in the games store.

Sav, in the Florida Mall there is a sports shop that caters for American sports, check out the Fila Ferrari trainers for $189 they are awesome, I was going to pick them up but I found some better ones in the Nike factory outlet off the 192 highway.

Take a day out and go to the Adidas, Nike, Armani out-lets (there are more than that) off the 192 inter-state, the shops are amazing and they are all in one very big area (especially the Nike one), I spent about $350 in the Nike one just on a pair of trainers and a jacket but it was still a knocked down price from anywhere else (genuine but straight from the Nike factory).

If you want shop recommendations just ask (we went to them all) or park recommendations (although your GF will know them all) then I will say which is the best! Hope you are enjoying your holiday!

Just managed to get on again. ;-) I've got another Alice figure - a black version of the rabbit. Also picked up a couple of new DVD's. I've got Mean Machine and I saw Life of Brian bundled with Time Bandits for $16.99 so I bought that too. ;-)

I saw Street Hoops up and running on the X-Box and its looks great. :-) The graphics are really good and it looks like you have bigger teams than in NBA Street. Looks to be a game worth looking out for. :-)
Theres preview boxes for some games which I've been looking at. Unreal Championship and Knights of the Old Republic look REALLY good. :-)

Haven't got the controller S yet. Getting pretty close to picking one up though so I'm sure I'll end up getting off the plane with one in my possession. ;-))

I've actually been looking at that Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds and the expansion pack for the PC. Would love to play it but at the same time my comp back home is complete crap so I'd be staring at the box for $40 once I'm home. ;-))
