Ok so this may not get replies.
I hope it will though.

Do you have a favourite guitarist?

Mine is without a doubt Frankie Sullivan, from Survivor.

He is a living legend.

There are the overrated ones like The Edge and Yngwie Malmsteen ,and then the ones who spend their lives doing stuff thats life changing ,and it goes un-noticed.

It's an ultimate sin.

A few come to mind straight away
Jimmi Hendrix
Carlos Santana
Joe Walsh
Tony Iommi
Brian May
Eric Clapton

I guess the list is endless but for me Jimmi and his unique style capture it for me.

My guitar teacher at school, for a while ,was Neol Davies from The Selectors.

How cool is that.

Does this actually mean anything to anyone?

I'm fairly new to guitars in general, tastes still changing quite a bit, but at the moment it's satriani..having been to see him live on Saturday, I came away extremely impressed, excellent evening of music. I love Strange Beautiful Music too, listening to it fairly solidly..
