No matter how good of a invester you are, any shares you have at the moment you have probably lost money. I have anyways :(
I could have sold my HBOS shares for £8.50 a few months ago but now they are about £5.50 :(
Could be a really good time to invest at the moment...Anybody got any good tips?
I have Bradford & Bingley shares (BB.) which were given to me when it de-mutualised, keep thinking about selling them, but then I keep expecting them to go up. I could have sold them for about £850 a while ago, now they are hovering around £737

I originally bought 940 COLT telecom shares @ £15.69 each. Totalling just under £15000
These shares are only worth 43p today! lol total value of £407 Lost 97% on that deal!
I've turned my £100,000 into £38,842.59
The only shares which made me profit were a company called brancote.

Ive invested in HBOS and Marconi at the moment, i haven't checked my numbers in a few weeks though, i dont think they will be pretty.

I invested heavy telecom companies and of course they have gone completly down the drain as of late. Especially bloody colt telecom...
Already went low as 3860 earlier today :S
my HBOS shares are down another 6% today :S
The American markets will be opening in an hour or so...could get even worse...
The FTSE will fall to around 3800, and then stabilise. To get maximum return over the shortest possible time, buy then.
If you're looking at longer term, say 5 years, then it's ok to buy now.
