Any of you lot got any shares?

No matter how good of a invester you are, any shares you have at the moment you have probably lost money. I have anyways :(

I could have sold my HBOS shares for £8.50 a few months ago but now they are about £5.50 :(

Could be a really good time to invest at the moment...Anybody got any good tips?

Every 559 old shares got you a nice new share. Old Marconi shareholders only got 0.5% of the equity.

I think the old certificates are toilet paper now, i didnt lose any money, i dont play the stock market...yet.

Heh, wipe away your tears, those arent the same shares. Marconi floated new shares about 2 weeks ago at a starting price of 54p.

they went down to half a pence not too along ago. if you had invested £10,000 at that price you would be a millionairre now.

Working lunch? I got that in an email from my uncle who does some financial stuff... for a moment I thought he actually did something at the office... obviously he just watches tv at home instead.

I thought i bought torotrak stocks on my virtual trader portfolio, but it didnt go through. Anyway i was thinking, would it be possible to make our own league on virtual trader?
