I recently brought a Gamecube and while I am perfectly happy with the console and Rogue Squadron has some amazing graphics. But since buying it a couple of months ago there is not one game I would currently buy for it the choice is quite appalling and where are these 50 games by the summer and more worryingly where are exclusives.

hmmm, Ninty bashing. No i wouldn't make the GC my first choice. PS2 has more games, and plays DVD's from the start. However, if i were to get a 2nd machine, then the GC would probably be it - for those few games that are only on GC. And Ninty are more likely to produce "different" stuff to compliment my PS2. Where as an Xbox will mostly just clone my PS2 software library.

As much fun as Ninty bashing might be, wouldn't it be MORE fun to help get the next FoG story going...

(See Prime) :-)

That's why I haven't bought any. {:)

Anyway, I could be controversial and say that MOH: Frontline is sure to be better on the PS2 because I've got it, but I won't. {:)

Damn the smileys.

Mario's the best platformer. Better than Banjo Tooie.

I think that Rareware (or Rare) are better games developers. All of their games have been in the top 5. Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Banjo-Kazooie & Tooie, Diddy Kong Racing, the Donkey Kong series and more...

Good point, and that brings me onto another one. Nintendo are the best games company in the world, and Miyamoto's the best designer, they've also got the best characters, and they only develop for the GBA and Gamecube.
