I'm not sure whether anyone will be interested but I'll give it a whirl. Just to liven the forum up a bit.

I'm going to start a World Championship on Grand Prix 4 and you have to pick a driver from the list below. I will give you the race results when I have them. Remember that all the cars and drivers will be equal so the race results will be completely random.

I am still, I just can't be bothered to reply. As you know, I have my GameCube now.

I still read it all.

Panis in complete control

Olivier Panis has won the Canadian Grand Prix when glitches and slides befell a lot of drivers in the wet conditions. He had to work for his win though, as he had to overtake Bernoldi and a very fast Heidfeld.

The wet conditions in Canada meant that any mistakes in the wrong areas could lead to the drivers being face to face with a concrete wall. Villeneuve and Fisichella found this out when Villeneuve crashed on lap 2 and Fisichella went out on lap 7. Raikkonen spun early on and damaged a front wing but it didn't help as he retired on lap 44 with an engine problem. The only other retirement was De La Rosa on lap 61 with a puncture.

Panis kept his head and drove an immaculate race to take the win and second place in the drivers standings. Heidfeld couldn't quite convert pole position but managed second place. Ralf Schumacher quietly benefitted from technical glitches and spinners to grab third place. Sato grabbed Jordans' first points with fourth place. Frentzen and Salo came 5th and 6th respectively.

Full race results:

1st Panis (Your Honour) 1h41m12.841s

Heidfeld leaves it late in Canada

Nick Heidfeld has taken pole position with a last gasp attempt and only minutes to spare in a dry, hot qualifying session. It was also a good qualifying for the chasing pack in the title hunt as Frentzen could only manage 13th.

Full qualifying times:

1st Heidfeld (Daxter) 1m15.656s
2nd Bernoldi (Afrojoe) 1m15.705s
3rd Panis (Your Honour) 1m15.724s
4th Coulthard (Quinty) 1m15.751s
5th Villeneuve (James Pond) 1m15.756s
6th Salo (PS2 Proud) 1m15.768s
7th R Schumacher (Badgerman) 1m15.782s
8th Sato (Bizarre Cabbage) 1m15.790s
9th Raikkonen (Figo) 1m15.792s
10th Fisichella (Major Chip Hazard) 1m15.805s
11th Massa (Ortega) 1m15.808s
12th Webber (Ant) 1m15.809s
13th Frentzen (KR) 1m15.810s
14th Montoya (Foreman) 1m15.811s
15th Irvine (DW) 1m15.821s
16th De La Rosa (Grandprix) 1m15.843s
17th M Schumacher (JAR) 1m15.858s
18th Barrichello (Reddy 2002) 1m15.867s
19th McNish (Dr. Pepper - oni) 1m15.877s
20th Yoong (No.2) 1m15.914s
21st Button (Jetster) 1m15.953s
22nd Trulli (Triple H) 1m15.989s

Will the gap be closed at the top?

Right, an update on current situations. Grand Prix 4 keeps bombing out so I've been tracking the problem and I think it has something to do with disc space. (I've been downloading a lot of music recently)

I'll put them on my server and try again. Hopefully, everything will be back to normal later on today.

Right, the plan is to finish the season before I go on holiday on August 10th.

Yesterday, I had done the qualifying but my computer crashed before I could get the results. I will redo it today. The results should be up later.

As for doing another, it depends on interest and other factors. Perhaps in September.
