Jarno Trulli
Jenson Button
Nick Heidfeld

Enrique Bernoldi
Eddie Irvine
Pedro De La Rosa
Mika Salo
Allan McNish
Mark Webber
Alex Yoong
First come, first serve basis.
Salo has won the Monaco Grand Prix with a superb drive and a seemingly effortless one at that. He took the lead off the grid and never looked back.
Bernoldi, the pole sitter, was in the wars a bit. He suffered a loose wheel and had to make a pit stop and had to make a second stop, dropping him down to last. Frentzen, his teammate, increased his championship lead with a second place finish.
The weather was nice and dry which meant that a lot of cars kept their noses clean. Sato came a cropper when he crashed into the barrier on lap 46. Trulli, Salo, Panis and McNish all had close calls with the barrier but they all survived. Panis eventually retired with a transmission failure on lap 72. De La Rosa was first out with a transmission failure on lap 8.
Salo takes his first win of the season with Frentzen a long way back in 2nd. Montoya just couldn't find a way past Frentzen and finished 3rd. Raikkonen, Massa and Ralf Schumacher rounded out the top 6.

> Told you my driver is a load of poo.:-(
Matches the forum user then, eh? ;-D
Another pole for Bernoldi. And the best thing is, it's at Monaco, the track where overtaking is very hard.
:-)
Monaco eh, should be a good race but likely for a lot of DNF's
Bernoldi takes the most important pole of the season in an extremely close qualifying hour. Monaco is extremely tight and twisty and the cars at the front are very difficult to overtake. The weather was very hot and dry and it couldn't have been closer, 15 cars within a tenth of pole and 21 cars within two tenths.
Full qualifying results:
1st Bernoldi (Afrojoe) 1m17.192s

A wet race could see a lot of drivers stack their cars in the barriers. Will Bernoldi finally get that elusive win?
That's my 3rd of the season now. :-)
KR and I as the 2 Arrows cars are kicking behind!
:D
