First come, first serve basis.
Frentzen has won the Austrian Grand Prix with a inch perfect drive to take his second win of the season after winning in Malaysia. It wasn't easy to win as heavy rain drenched the track before the start.
Villeneuve did everything right off the line and took the lead. His lead would last only until lap 45 when Frentzen's pit stop strategy played out to perfection.
There was disappointment for numerous drivers. The Minardi's showed their unreliability once again when Yoong went out on lap 30 with transmission problems. The same problem afflicted his teammate Webber 5 laps later. McLaren had an equally disappointing race as Raikkonen went out on lap 32 with a puncture and Coulthard lost control of his car and crashed out on lap 34. Sato went out on lap 43 with a water leak. Trulli went out on lap 59 with a puncture, the same lap as Fisichella's engine blew. Montoya's transmission failed on lap 70 but was classified 15th.
Frentzen drove a faultless race backed with excellent strategy to win as numerous cars went spinning including Fisichella, Sato, Raikkonen, Heidfeld, Webber, M Schumacher and Montoya. Villeneuve will be gutted that he couldn't make it two out of two but will be happy with second. Bernoldi had trouble with the conditions and managed third. Panis, Button and Michael Schumacher rounded out the top 6.

>anyone know if Mark Webber managed to scrape into the points?
