Ok, I've just had an idea to liven this forum up.

Quite a simple concept, I'm going to start a World Cup tourny on Pro Evo, and I'm going to let you lot pick a team from the list below. I'll post the scores as they happen to keep you up to date.

Quarter Final 3

South Africa (Lord H) vs Ecuador [Chile] (Natbuc & nh)

1st Half Report.
South Africa kick off. South Africa are putting on the early pressure. The majority of the early chances have gone to the Africans
A quarter of an hour has gone without much sign of either side breaking through. Ecuador’s striker turns sharply, he goes past the last man, he’s 1 on 1 with the keeper, he shoots…HE SLOTS IT UNDER THE KEEPERS BODY! SOUTH AFRICA 0:1 ECUADOR, TOTALLY UNEXPECTED!!! 17 minutes gone.
South Africa kick off, hopefully that goal will spark off a lot more action.
Ecuador have a corner kick, it’s whipped in…but the Africans clear.
A thru ball has left the African striker with a wonderful opportunity here, he’s 1 on 1, he shoots… but it hits the keeper who rushed out to him very well, I think the power of the thru ball took it away from him their leaving him with less time to slot it away. We’re now into Injury Time, and there’d the half time whistle.

Badgerman’s Half Time Thought
Ecuador have taken the lead against the run of play here, it’s been a pretty tame match with neither side wanting to fling everyone upfront, the match has been played and will be won in midfield.

2nd Half Report.
Ecuador kick off. South Africa have a corner, it’s crossed in…half cleared, picked up by the S. African on the edge of the box, he chests it down before unleashing a shot… that ricochets off the post and it’s cleaned up by the defence, unlucky.
Ecuador push forward, a one two tears apart the South African defence, it’s a 1 on 1 here…HE BLASTS IT PAST THE KEEPER’S FLAILING ARM INTO THE NET!!! SOUTH AFRICA 0:2 ECUADOR! 58 minutes gone.
South Africa kick off again.
South Africa have 10 minutes to save themselves, and Quinten Fortune getting booked isn’t helping them. Ecuador have a free kick, whipped across…glanced towards goal…IT’S GONE STRAIGHT INTO THE BOTTOM CORNER!!! ECUADOR HAVE SECURED A PLACE IN THE SEMIS. SOUTH AFRICA 0:3 ECUADOR!!!83 minutes gone. South Africa wont be able to come back now.
South Africa kick off yet again, we’re into injury time, and there it is, the final whistle. Ecuador are through, they will now play Slovenia in the semi final.

Badgerman’s Final Thought
Ecuador outplayed South Africa in the second half, grabbing two goals to add to their tally wich South Africa we’re never gonna come close to equaling. I can’t believe it, Slovenia or Ecuador will be playing in the SR World Cup Final :D. That’s gonna be a fun match to write :D

Denmark (MJSwerve) vs Turkey (Pro Evo) for a place in the Semi finals, and the daunting task of facing the best team in the game for a space in the final, France.

Ol' Badger Boy is back now so the next Quarter Final shall be up shortly.

Badgerman has been too busy lately and is going away on holiday today so the 2 other Quarter final matches will not be up until after he is back.

So why are there so many pantce teams in for the semis?
