Ok, I've just had an idea to liven this forum up.
Quite a simple concept, I'm going to start a World Cup tourny on Pro Evo, and I'm going to let you lot pick a team from the list below. I'll post the scores as they happen to keep you up to date.

Semi Final 2
Winner Quarter Final 1 vs Winner Quarter Final 4
France (Big Slow) vs Turkey (Pro Evo)
Both teams have had to face some difficult opposition. Let’s take a look back at these two teams’ path to the semi’s.
France
France are the outright favourites to win the tournament at this moment in time, they started off in group A, with Senegal, Uruguay and Denmark. Their first opponents were Denmark, they breezed by them with a comfortable 2:0 victory. They then threw away a 2:0 lead to Senegal to share the points. Their last match, against Uruguay, was another doddle, they won 2:0 and qualified as group leaders
Their second round match was against England, which they easily won 2:0.
Their next match (The quarter final) would have been more fitting for the final, France vs Brazil. An extremely tense affair, with France just edging it by 1 goal, France 1:0 Brazil.
So France are now at the semi’s, with only the Turks standing in their way
Turkey
Turkey were grouped with China Costa Rica and Brazil, quite an easy group with only 1 descent team in it. Their first match was against China, where they surprisingly drew 1:1. Not the best of starts. They luckily got the result against Costa Rica, winning 2:0. They were 3 points clear, aslong as Brazil didn’t hammer them, they would qualify. They lost 2:0 to brazil, and were therefore on the same stats as Costa Rica (Points-4 Goals For-3 Goals Against-3) But turkey went through for they beat Costa Rica in their encounter.
Their second round match was against Japan, not the most exciting of games, as they got through with a 1:0 win. They then had to face Denmark, not the easiest of opponents, but they breezed by in a 2:0 win, that’s why Turkey are considered strong contenders for he championship, but can they beat France to face Ecuador in the Final?…
First half Match Report
France kick off. Both teams are getting used to their usual style of play. France seem, unusually, to be forced back. Not much action so far, it seems like this is gonna be a hard fought match. Goal kick taken by France, headed forward for Turkey, brought forward by the Turkish striker, he’s been hassled by the defender, he shoots across the keeper from just inside the box… IT’S GONE IN!!! BARTHEZ COULDN’T GET TO IT!!! FRANCE 0:1 TURKEY!!! 15 mins gone.
France seem dumbfounded, they need to shape up fast, they haven’t got a single shot off on goal yet.
Turkey’s midfielder has had a few mazy runs, he nearly got into a shooting position after weaving in and out of players just before losing the ball, France are really being outplayed. Oooh, Turkey nearly got through on goal again, their striker turned on the ball to get to a 1 on 1, until Vieira got his foot in the way.
France are pushing down the wing, it’s crossed in… headed by henry, it cruely falls to Zidane… THEY’VE EQUALISED, FRANCE 1:1 TURKEY. 36 mins gone.
France didn’t deserve it, totally against the run of play.
France are pushing forward, the balls lobbed over the top… Henry blasts it only to see it rebound off the keeper, it falls to Wiltord… but the keeper parries it… cleared. Turkey seem awfully shaky now.
France manage to pull off a cross, no one picks it up it bounces to Wiltord… HE BLASTS IT HOME! FRANCE 2:1 TURKEY, 43 mins gone.
Turkey need to sort themselves out if they want to stand a chance of winning.

Turkey are underdogs in this encounter so I am backing them up. Unfortunately France have pulled themselves together and have taken the lead
Second Half match Report
Turkey kick off.
Henry latches onto the loose ball, he manages to shoot just before the keeper gets to it… but it just goes wide, unlucky, France seem to be the dominant force of this game now.
Turkey have a free kick, but it’s easily cleared.
France push forward, crossed in from the wing… headed at goal…IT HIT’S THE POST… AND ROLLS JUST INFRONT OF THE LINE BEFORE GOING WIDE!!
Goal kick to Turkey, headed down, thru ball… he’s got a 1 on 1 here, he goes for the loop shot…It just hits the roof of the net, unlucky.

Free kick to Turkey, played short, he runs forward towards goal, he unleashes a shot at goal… HE’S DONE IT!!! TURKEY HAVE SOMEHOW PULLED LEVEL, he hit it across the keeper again and it screamed into the bottom corner France 2:2 Turkey, 88 mins gone. Surely extra time is a certainty.

What a controversial game, with the amount of chances france have had, the game should’ve been sealed. Now they have to scrap it out in Extra Time.

Hakan Unsal is being squished by all his team, and his fat bloater of a manager. This is unbelievable.

OH MY GOD, This has been the luckiest wins I have ever seen, France dominated most of the game after they got into the mood of the game and should’ve won 5:1, but Turkey somehow managed to hold off the pressure, all credit to Rustu who made some good stops. Here’s the fun part :D…

Slovenia (Ortega) vs Ecuador (Natbuc & nh)
This is the first semi final to see who will earn one of the final spots. These two unlikely teams have both took out some pretty decent teams, lets just take a look
Ecuador
Ecuador were grouped with Italy, Mexico and Croatia. They got off to a bad start by losing to Italy 1:0 and were bottom of the group. They then made it een worse for themselves by losing 1:0 to Italy. Bottom of the group, 0 points, 0 goals. Looking a bit bleak, eh? :D
They had to rely on Italy to beat Mexico by quite a margin, and they also had to beat Croatia by quite a few goals, and what do you know it? Italy beat Mexico 4:1, and Ecuador beat Croatia 2:0. natbuc and nh were going through their underwear draw quite fast.
Their second round match was against Korea, a battle of the egoes :D Mandatare Vs Natbuc and nh.
Mandy was sure that his Korea would get through. But Ecuador just creeped through with a 2:1 victory. To send mandy home crying.
They now faced a confident South Africa team. They breezed through 3:0. Can Slovenia stop them?…
Slovenia
Slovenia were teamed against Spain, South Africa and Paraguay in the group stages. They also got off on the wrong foot, losing 2:1 to Spain. They then lost to South Africa 1:0. Once again. They have to rely on other results, and they themselves have to win. They are bottom, 0 points. Paraguay and Spain were on 3 points. This was gonna need a miracle. It somehow happened. South Africa (Already through) beat Spain, and Slovenia beat Paraguay. Slovenia had scraped through with 1 win and two losses, unbelievable.
Their Second round opponents were Cameroon. Cameroon had lead most of the game, until a looping header found it’s way in in stoppage time. It was great fun to watch J, they got through 4:3 on penos.
Slovenia then had to face Italy, surely they couldn’t beat these. They won 2:0, easily… is this Slovenia? :D

Ecuador kick off this highly anticipated game. Ecuador have scrambled the ball through, their striker has an opportunity here, 1 on 1 with the keeper…HE HIT’S THE BAR!!! Oh so unlucky for Ecuador, after a couple of mins, they’re already being pressurized (Slovenia).

Ecuador have had a good spell of pressure. The keeper boots it up only to have it come back at him.
The games started to even up now, really end to end stuff, fantastic. Slovenia have a corner, but the keeper collects again, they have to be more accurate.
Ecuador have managed to find a gap, their striker is jostling for possession with the defender, he gets into the box… he manages to put the shot away only to see it go wide. The defender was tugging at him then.
Slovenia are suspect of some dodgy defending. Ecuador are bound to break through again sooner or later.
Slovenia are countering… played forward, some fancy footwork has left their striker 1 on 1, he blasts it.. The keeper somehow saves it, and Ecuador retain possession, Slovenia wont get many more chances like that in this game.

Ecuador are pushing forward, played into the box.. headered at goal… the keeper saves, it falls to an Ecuadorian striker.. he must score, shoot!… shoot!… SHOOT!!! Oh my god, he tried to run it in but the keeper took it away from him, ladies and gentleman, the Ecuadorian Heskey.

Slovenia have a free kick in stoppage time, it’s shooting rnge, if he has a go, this will surely be the last moment of the game. He goes for it… But the keeper tips it away, that was a top corner jobby, corner to Slovenia, it’s crossed in…it’s passed to the man at the back post, he’s got a 1 on 1 here.. he hits it straight at the keeper, how unfortunate, the keeper surely is the man of the match, he’s kept them in it, and now he’s literally won it. Slovenia corner kick. It’s crossed in…but it’s headed over.
IT’S ALL OVER!!! ECUADOR ARE IN THE FINAL.

Well after a hard fought game, Ecuador have proven to be a better side on the day. It was a very tense match and could’ve gone either way, but Ecuador came out on top today.

Well after a hard fought game, Ecuador have proven to be a better side on the day. It was a very tense match and could’ve gone either way, but Ecuador came out on top today.

Slovenia (Ortega) vs Ecuador (Natbuc & nh)
Ecuador, the team that knocked my team South Korea out of the competition. However that was when they were really Chile. However now we are using Pro Evo 2, Ecuador are gonna get battered. Slovenia are another low team to get far and I see them winning this match also.
Prediction
I predict a 2-0 win for Slovenia.

France (Big Slow) vs Turkey (Pro Evo)
This will be a BIG game. This should really be the true final but hey, it’s the luck of the draw. France have pulled themselves through teams like England and the Brazilians. Turkey have pulled themselves through teams like Denmark and Japan. On first view, you would say France would breeze through this. However I see Turkey taking them to penalties before JUST losing.
