I think Xbox will be Number 1 for this Xmas 2002 presents and it happen with PS2 last year and it might do with Xbox this year. But Microsoft might dropped the price for Xmas. It would be very interesting to see punters rush out buying Xbox before Xmas Day so Number 1 present will be Xbox and Halo, DOA 3, PGR.

Don't get me wrong, the Xbox is an impressive console and it is good to see that it is starting to look like it's here to stay. However, I believe that if the Xbox is to be competitive in 6 months time (i.e. at Xmas) then the following is required:
-More games and better games need to be released: Halo is fantastic, but most other Xbox games aren't anything special. Baring in mind that PS2's recent releases include; MGS2, FFX, Medal of Honour... and upcoming games include GTA-Vice City.
-The Xbox needs to come out head and shoulders above the rest regarding online gaming.
-Prices need to continue falling. (The PS2 isn't likely to cost much more than £150 by Xmas)
If MS can fulfill this criteria, then the Xbox could be a massive Xmas success. However, as far as "if's" go, that is a monumentally big "if".

Halo is one of the most dissappointing games i have played ever - I'm not saying the GC is better in anyway - read it - NO GC INFLUENCES!!!!!!
Its good, but nothing to the hype its had, and did not make much impression on me, except for the expanse of the levels, which is nice....

Yeah, Christmas should be an interesting time as far as console sales go. I can see the X-Box having a good chance of doing really well because it'll have plenty of class titles out by then along with X-Box Live.
Can see Halo still being a top seller along with the likes of Unreal Championship, Mech Assault, PGR, LMA Manager 2003 and Phantasy Star Online 2.

True, XBOX will have loads kick asss games by Xmas and with the concept of XBOX live there is a major chance of it being number1
