Voodoo Chile, eh? Does that not just remind you of Red Dwarf? :-D

I wanna play all the Muse ones mainly but there are countless others I wanna play too.

Anyway, I would love a guitar and try and teach myself with the aid of books/internet or whatever but they're just so feckin expensive! However, I will own a guitar in my lifetime. Electric that is.

Maybe once I have everything I want I may get one. GameCube I'll need around September although I'll probably wait till Christmas. I'll either need a new DVD and VCR or a new TV depending on which stays in my room but I might get those free. MIGHT! Hopefully. Plus my PC is so slow! But that's loads of money. *sigh*

I am considering learning to play.
My dad can play bass and acoustic/electric guitars but aint a great teacher.
I might just have to begin and just learn it in my own time.

Songs I really want to be able to play are
Voodoo chile - jimi hendrix
Wish you were here - pink floyd
Hotel calafornia - eagles

Ive been playing electric guitar for about 3 or 4 years now. When ya first start playing guitar, it can get really boring but when ya get more experience playing the guitar, it gets a lot more fun to play.

I now have an acoustic guitar as well.

Advice for new guitarists - NEVER GIVE UP!!! It gets more interesting as you get more experienced.

I want an electric guitar, but I couldn't be bothered to go to any lessons or anything.

I just wanna listen to music and play along. Go mad to Plug in Baby. Now that would be fun! :-D

I'm actually thinking of getting one at the moment.

Start on acoustic though, so it's less of a financial loss when I fail miserably.

Me too, and a standard Encore acoustic, nothing special.

I started about six years ago, on acoustic, and have been playing electric about a year now...
