Dust. I'm talking about dust. My PS2 always seems to have dust all over it and I'm concerned it might be clogging up the gaps, and from an aesthetic point of view it makes the sleekiness of the PS2 look crap. Plus, no matter who many times I clean it the problem is never solved. Ah well, guess I'll just have to live with it, unless...

Yes but hoovers suck air out. So do fans. So surely they spin the same way?

I hate the dust as well. My mother aid because it's black, that the dust shows up more. But that doesn't explain the dust clogged aroung the fan.

I read about it somewhere in a PC magazine about cleaning computers, they talked about how to be careful when cleaning the fan because the issues I've stated. Fan units on both systems are practically the same, so that's why I thought I'd mention it before someone bug-gers up their console. Just to be on the safe side anyway.

Eww. Mine does the exact same. I clean it once every day, but a few hours later it seems to gather a wig of dust. And you're right, it makes the PS2 look very dirty indeed.

It's weird, but I think it must be the material on the casing... Or it could be my 11 year-old desk which it sits on. Hmm.
