I just brought GT3 today...

Popped it in the PS2.

Got through to the Gran Turismo mode.

Oh my god!

It's so boring... you can opnly afford a crap car so you must race in races that you can't win... your car handles like the Dodo ion GTA3. The licences are the most boring things ever and I keep getting stuck... the game won't allow me any real cars or real races unless I win rock hard races or unlock rock hard Licences.

The GT mode is dull, sure it offers lovely cars, upgrades and the ocasional thrill here and there but it offers little reward for the amount of work involved. I just finished the Arcade mode, did the licience tests and stopped about half way through the GT mode, best thing i ever did :-D

Took your advice and started perservering... lasted about half an hour, then cracked and took the game out. I have now been playing relaxing games like my Klonoa 2 demo (our copy of the full game is broken) and Jak & Daxter

That's what I meant! :-)

I'll have to send it to you from home (I'm at work at the moment), but it's a large file - just under 4Mb. Sure you want it?

Fair enough! As great as I think GT3 is, obviously there are some people who won't enjoy it.

Stick with it as long as you can... if you don't feel that's worth it, exchange it for something else.

I've got an electronic version of a GT£ guide - I can mail it to you if you want to see if it helps?
