Yes it is true. Presumably Sony assume that most people have new TV's so they will have a scart socket.

Bit of a pain as I will have to buy an RF unit for when I want to play on the spare TV. BUT then I suppose if it had an RF and no Scart I would have to buy a Scart wouldnt I!!!

is it true PS2 doesn't come with an RF lead, but it comes with a scartlead? so you will have to buy a RF lead if u'r T.V hasn't got scart input?

Konami re apparently taking over the crash series

I didn't think that Konami were behind Crash Bandicoot (Perhaps they own Naughty Dog or whatever Crash's creators are called).
Anyway, I don't think that Konami will give Sony a character. It's already releasing ISS games on other systems and will release more games (like Metal Gear Solid if us non-playstation-owners are lucky) for them if ISS proves successful.

Yeah, i think sony's icons arn't characters but computer games, like when you think of sony and there games you think of series of games and not the characters like

Tekken series
&
Ridge Racer series

There are others, such as the Gran turismo's and Final Fantasy's (although the FF were with nintendo at first)
Tomb Raiders and Chrash Bandicoots although mooved and moving to other consoles, they are rememered as PSX classics.
