"Connection Speed...."

.... would some of you kind people mind telling me, on average, how log it takes for a typical SR page to download (Say this one for eg), and what connection type you have (Standerd Modem or ISDN/ADSL).

It's just this site seems very slow latley, and I want to know if its just my ISP sucking or if there is a slowdown at SR's end

I use Vispa, who are a damn fast ISP, and I reckon my modem has superpowers. It rocks. I once wrote a post about them, but I think SR delted it...

6 seconds on ADSL im getting .... christ that us crap.

6 seconds to load the main FOG Chat page. TBN, what have you done to your computer to get it to load in a second on 56k? Do you have a really fast 56k ISP? I have Freeserve, and it's utter shat :(

Does seem slow to me just recently - especially when posting a reply.

Takes my PC about 3 seconds (on average) to load the pages. Sometimes they do take AGES but thats very rare and sometimes they load straight away, like a second.
I dont know what connection ive got, I know im on broadband or whatever but thats it.
