Phft, It's a stupid idea I know, but Andi is convinced that his XP1800 is "better" than my XP2000. I think he must be retarded or something.

Rob, that shows him taking it to 1.8GHz, I've seen 1800s taken to 2.1GHz

I just got a Zalman heatsink/fan:

which runs like a dream. Almost silent and very, very cool (in both senses of the word.)

Yes, and the XP1800 will go to well over 2GHz if you really push it..

Actually, Phil has it clocked to 1759mhz (as opposed to 1666mhz - don't ask), and I'm planning on leaving it. I'll also push it a bit harder when I have failsafes working properly, Phil's says it'll easily go faster.

I didn't pay for my 1800 though, but I still decided to get it over a 2000..

Also, from what I understand Rob to be, he likes to ...*finds a suitable word* 'Brag' about what he has *points at Turbonutter's Repoistory* ;) a 2000XP looks better on paper than a 1800XP might not make any difference really, but I can't see many people thinking a 1800XP being better than a 2000 unless you actually have to work for your money :D

Fair point, the final price actually makes a lot of difference, I don't know Rob but he doesn't seem like the kinda guy that would try to overclock a 1800/2000 cpu, would have thought he'd try and get his mitts on his 333Mhz instead, so I doubt overclockings a big deal to him.
So if what your saying, the 2000 sounds/probably works better and considering he's not paying for it (which seems to be the biggest point you made) the 2000XP seems to be the obvious choice and I think hes already got it?
