The real reason he says this is because I have an XP2000 and he's jealous. Come on Andi, we both know it.
Here's my overclocking 2p: sort out your /system/ temp, ie get a half decent case fan, or even better an aluminium case and a decent fan. Doesn't have to be very noisy if you have a good heatsink. Second, get a good heatsink (IMHO Zalman stuff rules). Third, um, be quite rich and prepared to fry one or two processors in search of your optimum level.
There was I'm quite sure a fourth point I was going to make but I am very, very drunk so I ain't going to...
Also remember, individual CPUs vary greatly. Some respond very well, some not at all.
