How can anyone here argue that the console is popular in Europe when it is quite obvious that the Gamecube has sold more already. The poorer than expected sales in Japan and Europe will definetly have a negetive effect on the wordwide future of the console. Why would developers want to make games for a console which has the lowest user-base of the three next-gen consoles?

Philips you are such a muppet! At least the only game you can pick out is Buffy but I doubt you can say anything about the rest whereas the GameCube list I can slate nearly all of the games! You don't even know how well Buffy will do but I can guarentee the rest will!

Nobody has. It has sold units, but not that many, but enough to keep it worth going. Over time, as more games get released, chances are sales will pick up. The Playstation 2 and GameCube were just fortunate to be popular from the start.

True, but when the GameCube is £90 cheaper (when DVD playability is bought with X-box) then what do you expect? Ofcourse the GameCube is going to sell faster!

Not when in America the console is doing pretty well.

It's only on planet Earth that the userbase is relatively lower than GameCube and Playstation 2. Still doesn't mean it's not worth developing games for it. On Planet USA (the rest of the world means nothing to most yanks!) the X-box has a competetive amount of fans, and is doing very well indeed.
Note to X-box fans: I am terribly sorry for the behaviour of this member. Although I dislike (or completely hate would be more accurate) the X-box (especially the controller), I admit the console still has potential and I've got nothing against others using the X-box, providing they don't try to tell me the GameCube is crap or tell Sony fans the Playstation 2 is crap.
I came here expecting everyone to be bitching about the GameCube, but I was shocked to find the maturity level of some members is lower than the average Pokémon fan.
I hope this doesn't happen again.

I've got a console twice as powerful as the Xbox called the Philcube, but why don't people want to develop for it. According to you they should be jumping at me to have the chance to bring out a game!?

Say... A computer costs £1500 and another computer costs £300 the £1500 is better but it might not sell as many due to the price, but IT IS BETTER! Well this is the case with the X-Box and GameCube! My friend got a GameCube becuase he could not afford an X-Box and he hates the GameCube!

Well, logicly, if the GC has sold more, than that would tend to suggest that it is a better product.
