Yep that's right, there's been scores of these starting up, but all have failed. Let's make this thread a place for PC gamers to chat. Post anything you like in here, comments, reviews, but no spam please.

OK, lets keep this going gamers. For beige box and country!!
Or something like that. :)

NOLF is a great game, I hope to complete it soon, and I wait in anticipation for the sequel, which should be out soon. And another thing, Gamespot report the demo of unreal tournament 2003 will be released within the next couple of weeks, finally a confirmation.

I have noted the correct spelling character, so I shouldn't have the same spelling mistake again in the future. Unless I forget :)

I will be getting NOLF soon, just waiting for it to get really cheap. ;)

And Cipro, character is spelt with an A not an E. Just for future reference. :)

Sorry about that comment, it kind of didn't belong here, I was a bit bored. Anyway, back to PC gaming.

I got No one lives forever a couple of weeks ago, for a measly £10, it's a bloody good game n'all. A good story, a suprisingly good script, great graphics, varied gameplay, its a long game and it's very funny.

Perhaps one of the best FPS of recent time, I suggest to anyone who hasn't already got the game to go out and but in now. I mean it's only £10, that's a bargain for such a quality game.

My brother got a Gameboy advance today and its quite good. He got tony hawks, spider man and doom to play on. Doom looks exactly the same as the origanal version, except on a smaller screen, quite good to say its a portable games device. We'll be able to link it up to my gamecube when I get next month, as I'm interested to see what this function is capable of.

I'd imagine it would be hard to play through an RPG like icewind dale with one charecter, but at least you won't have to keep on sorting out each and every member of your group. In Planescape tourment for example, I spent alot of time swapping objects from each charecters inventory to free some more space up. That got a bit boring, but the rest of the game was brilliant.

Well, in Icewind Dale it's impossibly hard with only one character, but a good way to get a good start if you can manage the start alone. Doing the second set of quests with a level 5 warrior, plus his party makes it well worth the effort.

Yeah it is easier, and more fun. I think the command function works OK with Op flashpoint though, mainly because when you give orders your soldiers carry them out. GR however, has some of the most basic team A.I. I have ever seen, which may have been alright if the game wasn't meant to be a serious soldier sim.

Not that I want to complain, the game does have some good action moments, and it does good to make you feel like a proper US special forces team. i.e. go in with guns blazing and leave tactics to other countries.

It's so much easier with just one soldier isn't it. Tis nice to have some spares in case he pops it though.

Controlling groups of charecters in games can often be hard, like in ghost recon. You have the control over a group of special forces soldiers who are morons, they never follow orders and shoot any enemy they see on sight. Makes it bloody hard for the stealth missions. Instead I play the game with one soldier and leave the rest to fend for themselves. Its more a gung-ho game anyway compared to operation flashpoint.

Ya, I tend to use just one chracter when more are available. Like in Hidden and Dangerous, I mostly used just one soldier to complete the mission and left the rest at the start. You are much more in control that way.
