lol, not quite but it sometimes feels like it. I've been a gamer sinse the early days of the C64, it's not until recently that I've considered myself a hardcore gamer, well you only need to look at my games collection to prove this. What can I say, it's a hobby, and one that will be with me for years to come.
Yes I do believe that there are some people here above the age of 19, infact there are more than a few people here who are in their 20s an even 30s. I don't see this as a problem, I think it's great that people in their late 20s early 30s play games and enjoy them, it removes the stereotype of gamers being immature 14 year olds. No doubt I'll be a gamer long into my 30s.

spot on.
> Insane Bartender, keep up the good work and fight the good fight!
He'll fight all right, IB and I have had fights of such enormity that it becomes a major spectator sport. But he doesn't necessatily fight the 'good' fight. He'll just fight against the current viewpoint just to relieve his boredom a little.

Of all my posts in this thread you have to pick on the only one in which I corrected Cipro's spelling mistake. I did this merely because we are trying to help each other get a better grasp of English, and so will have better opportunities to win GAD prizes. I wasn't complaining to him, just helping him out.

Try freeads, if you have that sort of thing where you live. There's loads of ads for old games. Alternatively have some of mine, I've got potloads of old games.

Heh, you'll need to provide more detail than that. :)

Anyone's allowed in, but just try and get to know us better before blurting out your opinions of everybody.
Cipro, you must have every game that ever existed! Your knowledge of computer Gaming is without equal. That apart, believe it or not there may be one or two people over the age of 19 that contribute to this thread. Some of them 'shock, horror' may even have a kid. Is it at all possible that the over 40's might enjoy gaming? (in not more than 100 words please)
Vin, get a life.
Insane Bartender, keep up the good work and fight the good fight!
Little Hobbo, sorry, you are pernickity! It may be a first impression but is grammar all that important here?
Now my questions, and remember I'm relatively new so bear with my ignorance!
Somebody, way back when in this conversation mentioned renting games. How do we do that? or Where do we do that?
Does anybody know of a good source of 2nd hand games. Particularly for kids 'cos I've got three of the Bug***s, oh! and I'm over 40 (and fat as well!)
All this talk about graphics cards has made me dizzy. I have an ATI radeon thingy with a creative sound someting or other and a computer with plugs & things! Will this do?
Do I pass the test, am I allowed in?

It looks like a good game, I may have a look see when it's released myself. I haven't got the origanal game yet, but I think i'll have time to try it before the sequel is released.

I'm not being pernickety, it's just that I like people telling me when I make a spelling mistake, that way I can get a better domination of the English language.
