My day started well! Rendezvous with a gorgeous blonde, and a very pleasant time in her company. I'm genuinely happy, is that too much to ask?
BLAM!! Then I find I've left my wallet on a bench the minute before. Go back for it and somebody has already swiped the damn thing. Credit cards, house keys, driver's license, membership cards and over £50 in cash.
Just for once why can't there be an honest person who finds my wallet, someone who hands it in, or finds out who it belongs to and returns it? But no, The freaking scum of the earth rise once again to grab whatever fragments of happiness I manage to raise.
