Yep that's right, there's been scores of these starting up, but all have failed. Let's make this thread a place for PC gamers to chat. Post anything you like in here, comments, reviews, but no spam please.

OK, lets keep this going gamers. For beige box and country!!
Or something like that. :)

I'd be tempted myself, but i have too many games to buy over the next few months.

Also I got chaser last week and have been playing it ever since, quite a fun if linear and repetative game. Still I got it for under £20 and at that price it's well worth a look. And the Mars based missions are great.

It's quite popular, however I have not yet purchased it. It's on Sold Out £4.99 range, so check out their website for a review, www.sold-out.co.uk

Heard of it, but it's not my type of game to be honest.

Hurraaahhh! People are alive, welcome back.

As to your enqs re X-Wing, it was awarded "Best Simulation of the year" by computer gaming world in 1993! so it's quite old. I bought it as a package with "Tie Fighter" and "X-Wing - v - Tie Fighter" for £10. All good games, or they would be if I could get passed the first level!!!!

Speaking of games , just got "Legends of Might & Magic" but not had chance to play it yet, any Good???

In terms of Star Wars games, I rate Mysteries of the Sith as quite good- I've never played X-Wing, but it sounds a good game. When was it released?

Even if I had X-Wing I doubt it would play on my PC. I do have Tie Fighter though which was the sequel to X-Wing, a very good game as well if I remember correctly.

So am I not getting a reply because you've all dusted off your copy of X-Wing and are busy playing it or have we just worn this thread out?

Has anyone out there played x-wing? I ask only I've just re-installed it 'cos I never got anywhere with it before and now I remember why, I can't get past the first stage! It seems to be impossible (I'm sure it's not) so if you have and you've any clues, let me know.
