Yep that's right, there's been scores of these starting up, but all have failed. Let's make this thread a place for PC gamers to chat. Post anything you like in here, comments, reviews, but no spam please.

OK, lets keep this going gamers. For beige box and country!!
Or something like that. :)

The film killed off the games as well.

The only thing different in Final Fantasy game that can class them as stand alone games and not sequels, are the settings, characters and plot. Each is game is basically just the same, young hero has to fact destiny to fight some long haired goon, he gathers a team of friends (always on of whom is a creature of some sort) throw in some magic an those guardian force things and you pretty much have a Final Fantasy game there. They're basically the same games, but with subtle differences.

The film however, was just a sci-fi yarn, and while it carried some of the traits picked up from the games it was based on, for the most part it was a basic science fiction film that just so happened to be based on a fantasy set of games. Watchable, but very average.

Still at least the film wasn't as bad as Tomb Raider, I'm glad the sequel to that film flopped at the box office.

The franchise has been around for about 16 years, so obviously the storylines would change. Like the sound and graphics.

I hope your kidding about the game bit? You do relise that there have been so many Final Fantasy games and all with different characters. Think that X2 is the only really game that has had a character in another Final Fantasy and thats due to it being about that character. Each game has had a different story line and have been set in a different world.

What about System Shock 2? Surely that would make an excellent movie?
Suspense, shock, blood 'n' guts and such. The storyline is pretty strong and if the right director was given the chance.........

Like the Sims one. :)
Hold on, that won't even have a real script.

Oh I don't know - a VC film would be quite good. It's already got a storyline which would put it above a lot of films.

It'd be great to see a film of GTA: Vice City.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Easy and free service!
I think it's fab that you provide an easy-to-follow service, and even better that it's free...!
