He always used to be my favourite, and indeed he has won several awards for his writing. But I have more recently been taken with the abstract ramblings of John Walker; that fellow cracks me up frequently. His budget column is probably my most anticipated section of the whole mag.

Who else could get away with using an entire third of a review talking solely about his toilet? :D Fantastic stuff.

Just read the PCG review, and Kieron says valve have hinted at a co-op patch to be released later. Fingers crossed!!

Multiplayer was omitted from GTA3, but there's a multiplayer version available online. www.multitheftauto.com/downloads.php

If it's missing, it'll turn up on Kazaa or a dodgy download site. :D

Unfortunately not. Why Gearbox decided to remove Co-op play is beyond me, it would have been excellent if it had been left in, co-op games on the PC are a rare thing and I would have loved to have tried it in Halo.

Still I'm hoping mod makers out there will be kind enough to eventually bring co-op play back to halo, or maybe Gearbox will eventually wise up and release it in a patch. Still, it is very disappointing that it wasn't included.

OK, here's the most vital question. Can you play the game co-operatively with amates? Most likely not, but it'll be the deciding buying factor if so.

Yup, one uses the machine gun mounted on back and another sits in the passanger seat and leans out using his own rifle. You of course have no weapons to use, but you can run those pesky aliens over if they stand still for a minute.

I had a go on the tank today, another great vehicle.

Can you have other human players manning the guns of the vehicles?

Oh yeah, best vehicle in a game ever. It's funny when you jump over insanely high hills and almost land on your roof, then the guy you have manning the Machine gun lets out a cheer. It's also quite fun to use in multiplayer as well.

Reckon I'll get it for the Warthog alone. :)
