That's why I said i'd LIKE to see them on Gamecube, does 'learn to read' mean anything to you?

Yes that does sound a bit dumb.

I think Gamecube disks can only hold about 3.5GB whilst DVDS have around 4.7GB space

Hmm, It might just be the control layout. The gameplay might be the same or he thinks its different as it has Mario as the goalie. Joke.

Gameplay matters the most, Great games don't depend on hardware ect. but i do like my games good and with extremely advanced graphics :-)
> -and "bigger is better"
Im not sure what he means by this, if he means the console being larger in size, thats a load of bullcrap.

I do Accept the fact that people prefer different games, Just that i like the xbox ones and i like to tell people about it ;)

Come on you nints, i mean think about it most games on the gamecube are updates of past classics eg. Mario, Donkey Kong, Luigi. The xbox has HUGE potential and it MILES more powerful than the GC, the xbox has LOTS of games to come.
Games on a console go through 3 waves:-
Wave 1- Developers getting used to XBOX hardware and creating the launch games
Wave 2- (Starting in augest onwards) Developers become used to the xbox hardware and create more advanced grapical games
Wave 3- Is All the games after that
There is loads of games to look forward to on the XBOX and aswell as the concept of xbox live. Games such as Unreal Championship, Splinter Cell, Project Ego ecetera.
> controller I've ever held, and has quality Nintendo innovation oozing

Rofllmfao!!!!!!! The xbox controller was made from 10,000 hours of testing by many people. I dont think it was rushed in my point of view...
Anyway your small gamecube-girl addpated fingers cannot stretch to full span without complaining...
Lets face it no console is perfect they are created to make money mostly not to look good or weigh less. They let us escape from our normal lives and have fun in a variety of worlds and places. Use them for what they are and don't get these console wars up for what you want them to be.

just have to comment on the comments you have made :D

afraid i haven't played a gamecube so i can't really comment on the controller...

the buttons are far closer together on the xbox than the ps2 which can make fighting games slightly troublesome cos you can accidentally overlap buttons...
The buttons at the back of the xbox

i find that the trigger buttons are a bit too tight...so when playing racing games for long periods...my hands start to hurt slightly.

there were quite a lot of launch games that appealed to me (which is why i have an xbox) but there just doesn't seem to be that much that is coming out at the moment that is very good. Many of the highly anticipated games that i was looking forward to such as hunter: the reckoning and gun valkyrie - i mean they're not awful but i was expecting so much more from them.
Also ISS2 is amazing, not to everyones taste, but i love

haven't played it
Ive also played the GC version of this game. Apparently its the

but even though i haven't played it i don't see how it could be so radically different. the only different thing would be the button config....so the whole game mechanics will be the same as the xbox version.

at the moment....there really hasn't been THAT much difference graphically between the three next gen consoles...having a small hardware doesn't mean it isn't good...i actually don't really see your logic...the specs are lower but great games can and are being produced. i mean graphically speaking i think that the resident evil games look better than most of the xbox games...and any ground breaking games also require excellent gameplay which surely is possible regardless of hardware used...are you saying that the dreamcast didn't have any ground breaking games even though it had worse hardware.

that's such a pile of bull....how can size and weight be proportional to gaming potential?!

bill has been getting his cheque book out...but the thing is good games need to be coming out NOW not at the end of this year. i mean there really haven't (in my opinion) been any really good games out after the launch...microsoft need good games NOW to establish itself

mr gates has been throwing so much money at the console...and also i really haven't seen many games on the xbox take "games to a new level"...also it isn't the money that will take gaming to a new level it's the develepors...nintendo have great companies like rare which have taken and will take games to a new level. not all nintendo games are kid's games either...

the tiny disks actually hold a heck of a lot of information...far more than your normal cd...the new disk is to prevent pirating (which i applaud)...i'm all for people battling against piracy...you'd best ask someone else for exactly how much a disk holds

err so what if it doesn't have a dvd player...this is how nintendo can afford to price their console at their price (and a good price it is too)...anyway people get a console for THE GAMES

you don't need that big a memory card for save games cos they really don't take up much space....the 4mb mem card could hold a heck of a lot of save games. although i do have to agree that the xbox hard drive is a good move....
i mean i'm not a ninty cos i haven't ever owned a nintendo console but you really just have been spouting so much c*ap...

Nice rant!!
And on that note, let this thread be deleted, like it should've been when the flaming began.
