Sorry, but I think they are. I own (alright, have copied, same thing) both albums, and aside from the intro to Plug In Baby and some nice piano parts, the albums are monotonus.

It is very difficult to tell two songs apart - it just blends into one big mass of noise, none of which is particulery good to listen to.

Anyway - thats my opinion. Feel free to shout at me.

OK, which fag said muse are rubbish... A lump of cheese!? :D

I totally disagree there. They're a hell of a talent, Matt Bellamy has an amazing voice, they do some excellent songs and it is far from boring. Muse rule!!

You can say whiney and annoying. That's okay for an opinion because it can annoy you and it is a bit whiney sometimes. BUT! Saying it is rubbish is you talking out your backside! Sorry Gaz, it has to be said. He does have a good voice whether you like it or not. It's suited to the style of songs Muse sing.

This reminds of someone I know who has the highest standard for people singing. He thinks Matt Bellamy is a terrible singer as well as quite a few other quality singers. Including Freddy Mercury! However, (and this is the great bit) he thinks Bob Dylan can sing!! Heh heh.

I was gonna post a huge argument about this, but I can't really be bothered, so.....

Muse are like marmite - you love them or hate them.

I think they rock.

So there!

So what kind of voice do you like then, Stryke, if not Thom Yorkes or Matt Bellamys (!?).

Oh, wait, don't tell me, the person who sings for Counting Crows.

I concur.

His voice is like that git from Starsailor and Thom Yorke from Radiohead. It's whiney and rubbish and damn annoying.

While we're on it, what kind of name is Thom. Should be Tom.

Thom.

WHA....FU...?????.....BU?
Cipro, how on earth can you say that?
Matt Bellamy has one of the most diverse and original voices in modern rock. True, it may not be amazing, but he uses it really well, and its incredible how high he can go (see 'Showbiz').

The one thing I can't stand about muse is the lead singer (don't know, or care for his name) is absolutely awful at singing. He is the one reason I don't like listening to the band.
