The same group of 17 year olds plan to go to a "Live Role Play" in the summer for four days.
In this "Live Role Play" they roleplay as dwarves/swordsman etc.. in a big open field with woods and lots of empty space with some other people who are also roleplaying. They camp out during these four days and don't get much sleep because other people roleplaying come and hit them with their latex swords. Everyone looks ridiculous in their chainmail with their latex swords and just hit people. One person will be prancing around "healing" people who have been hit with latex swords and are lying on the floor counting to 30, pretending to be dead.
Then at the end, all the ridiculous looking people in chainmail with latex swords meet and hit each other with latex swords. Oh and fire crossbows at each other.
So is that geeky or not? I thought it was, but apparently according to them it isn't. After all they apparently during these four days get "very" drunk.
> is this 'geekfest' like 'ozzfest' but more rebelious?
Ozzfest? Sorry if I seem stupid.
Geeks!
:D
*runs away before he turns into one aswell*
Quick! Shield your eyes everyone!
:D

No it blooming well is not! :) I have better things to do then hit people with latex swords shouting "That's ten thousand damage I cost you!"
Snuggers I'm not sure where it is at, I'll have to find out. Someone showed me the site once, and it looked quite sad. People of all ages dressed in chainmail.

And that actually did make me a laugh out loud. I could imagine him running around sprinkling flour everywhere.
A better idea would be to get there in the last battle when they are all lined up to fight each other and draw out two BB gun uzis. I'd love to see their faces then. Then they could all run about, and I could mow them all done.
"Ahh!! It stings!!!"
Lol, you could imagine the carnage.
Mr. Chainsaw, I have no idea what day it is. All I know is its summer 2002 for this annual Geekfest.
I can also imagine some people squabbling "I killed you!" "No I killed you!" "No I did!" "No!" (hair pulling commences)
They may be geeks, but they do entertain me......
That would be call. I wouldn't sleep, but I'd try to enebriate (sp!? - it means to get drunk!) the other guys, and then decapitate them or something. Ok, scrutinise me for being a 'geek', go on, I know you want to!
Oh, and some internet freak called me a 'greak' the other day. What some of these pre-pubescent gits come out with! :D
