I find it quite odd that the popularity of this forum hasn't gone through the roof since the release of Gamecube. Oh well...
Seeing as this is meant to be the most popular launch title and I have it, I thought I'd start a thread about it.

I'm finding it really hard to get used to at the mo. I'm only on the 4th mission...the one where you've gotta take out the force field, using the crappest ship available (Y-wing). It's really hard to spot the Tie's in space, ya know.

Oh you have GOT to be kidding!! Does it HAVE to be those secret ones cause I unlocked Death Star Escape and then Triumph of the Empire rather than the asteroid field one. I get a silver in all missions and those
2 secret missions, will I get Slave 1?

And if I'm gonna get a silver in triumph of the empire, I'm gonna need those seeker cluster missiles. Where are they?

Oh, so I just win it the first time and then do it again. Righteo. I always just did it once. I shall try tonight. But I'll never be bothered to do it in the morning. I'll have to change the clock on my GC.

Yeah i was afraid of that. Practice is the only way you can beat this game, its solid.

All silver medals on ALL missions and the first 2 bonus ones, death star escape and asteroid field. If you cant do the tousche station races you arent doing very well. The hard course is accessed after you have raced against Biggs and Wedge and beaten them. After you have beaten them the first time, fly into the icon that starts the race, this will be the harder race. The only difference is that Biggs and Wedge use their boosts a bit more.

i always mix them up, you're right, that one is hard, especially as there is no reticule, it just requires lots and lots of consecutive goes, to learn when the ties come and from whence they come

Oh of course. Where do you get them? The normal cluster missiles are shat! I once fired all 20 of them whilst behind a group of 3 X-Wings and not one of the 100 missiles hit a ship!!

In fact, where do you get all the upgrades? I have one on Ison corridor Ambush, the one where you have to stay under the sensors (can't remember the name) and I think that's it.

NO thats strike at the core. Death star escape is when you are in the falcon shooting down all of the ties, its the first bonus mission you can unlock.

All silvers for Slave 1
just do the race twice, then it counts, and you have to do it in the day, dusk, dawn and night perfectly, then you get naboo starfighter, which is great for Bespin

Okay so how do you get Slave 1?

And do you have to complete the training mission at all times of day to get the Naboo Starfighter? What's the hard course on the Tosche Station Race though? I always get a time for the easy one, but not the hard.
