Not really, Xbox is great. Got Xbox, extra controller, memory card, link cable, Advanced scart cable and 5 games for about £600. Got £500 left to pay, only take 3 weeks of work in the summer after Uni has finished to pay it off.

NOT ANY MORE!

Today I found a local Dixons that had 10 (YES THAT'S 10) GameCube's. I couldn't beleive it. To find a shop that had one or two is rare, but 10, that's just amazing.

I bought the console and Luigi's Mansion, but I don't actually have the money for it yet (had to take the money from a savings account I shouldn't really use). However, when i'm paid next Sunday i'll have the money to replace what I took from that account.

Anyhow, the console is absoloutely awesome. I'm very pleased with it. I'm lucky enough to now own both a PS2 and GC and feel that i'm in a good position to really make the most of the battle between Sony and Nintendo in the coming months.

Xbox? Pah...

I know what you mean. I'm happy I have Rogue Leader and would never trade it in. But at the same time, if Lucasarts make another Rogue Squadron game, they really need to sort out the AI of your allies and stop a lot of this 3 ships vs 100 situations. Not to mention all this defending stuff all the time because it can really take away a lot of enjoyment out of some of the levels when you've got to keep some stupid cruiser in one piece when really you want to just fly off and dogfight TIE's and attack StarDestroyers with other Rebels. It'd be nice if you could have the option to be the Imperials too.

Theres really no reason why they can't do it now. The GC handles the Endor battle with no problems. Maybe they could even stop this thing of being Luke and Wedge and just have you as a Rebel pilot so theres no more keeping certain characters alive cause you have to go by the script in the film. You could then enter the Death Star's main reactor in a Y-wing or A-wing as well as an X-wing or the Millenium Falcon.

If Lucasarts could just combine the X-wing vs TIE fighter on PC with the way Rogue Leader ships fly and look on screen, you'd pretty much have the perfect Star Wars game.

Tis' true! No matter how many times I tell the wingmates to take out the TIE fighters they just go off somewhere!
And the last level, what the hell was that!? Is Wedge blind or something!?
Rogue Leader is a really hard game, I'm still glad I brought it though, just waiting for SSBM now... :0)
