I just got it today, and I'm writing this message to you on it :) so sorry it's a little short.

So far I've browsed youtube, watched a film, listened to my favourite music and now writing this message all without having to leave my bedroom :)

Anyone else got one of these beauties?

So what/whose firmware are you using PB?

And if you aren't using an IR Keyboard with your PSP what sort of goodies does it give you that you like?

You don't have Custom Firmware? :D

Most people I know with a PSP now have Custom Firmware.

Same with the DS, which is even easier and lets you use the browser.

THe DS Browser is pretty slow and has a lack of memory, but for chat sites and quick lookups it's great.

Can you get one?
As far as I can tell the only keyboards that work (PDA type accessories) are with 'hacked' PSP firmware.

I've read that Sony have announced plans to launch one mid 2009.
This is for my son you realise ;¬P
Let me know if I'm missing something here...

Anyone tried the Nintendo DS Opera Browser thingie? At least the DS has a half decent keyboard (the PSP is dead loss!). Must try one of these for around £30.

It would be good to make more use of the WiFi capabilities of both the PSP and DS.

YouTube has some interesting demos (both PSP Keyboard and DS WiFi), but it would be good to hear first hand.

Sorry to disagree Cliffbird, get an Archos 605 instead, costs a bit more but no transcoding to watch your movies and UPNP wireless video streaming from my NAS box to anywhere in the house. Beats an Ipod for general use anytime.

I've got an Ipod touch now and its great. Its the first iPod I've owned because all the others are just overpriced mp3 players. This one is also expensive but its also very swish. And the Internet browser is awesome, however it is a little slow and takes a while to type messages like this.

Oh and I totally agree with you all the iPhone is stupidly over priced with a stupidly expensive tarrif!!! Tarrif costs £5 extra a month for unlimited data, which is silly when most of the time you would use wi-fi, unlimited data would be great for satnav but the iphone doesn't have gps built in, so its pointless!!!

Rant over, the iPhone sucks, the iPod touch RULES!!!

Yeah but that's before the Dixons' insurance goes on top of it.

Evidentally it's not worth a damn thing, as it's being given away for free...

After all is said and done
You've never walked, you've never run,
You're a winner!

You got the moves, you know the streets
Break the rules, take the heat
You're nobody's fool!

Best. Song. Of. The. 80's.
