And if you listened to it, add you favourite/least-favourite track(s) and briefly what you think of the CD overall.
I'll start off:
Today I brought:
Puddle of Mudd - Control
It's a pretty good CD, better than what I had expected. It's also quite 'grunge-like', and I can see why some people have compared them to Nirvana.
Some lyrics are quite lame like "smack my ass" but the music overall is good. And as for a favourite track, it's too early for me to say.
Vex Red - Start with a Strong and Persistant Desire
I haven't listened to this yet, but i've already heard 'Clone Jesus' and that's one reason as to why I brought it.
I also brought it as I got £5 off when I brought these 2 together! :)
What have you brought??

Granted, this is true. But The Foo Fighters self titled debute album was recorded almost solely by Dave Grohl wasn't it? Will and Nate joined later so that the "Foo Fighters" could perform live...
What is it with you and Nate Mendal anyway???
Just got the new Snuff CD through (unsung London punk
> heroes)and still getting used the the new Vandals CD but I don't like
> it as much as their last couple.
What's the new SNuff CD like? I heard Blue Gravy was a bit of a disappointment, hopefully this one is better...
Oh, and should see the Vandals Dec 2nd :D
Might have to get their 'OI! To The World' album before then, I hear it's one of their best.
> I bought a Jawbreaker rarities album, which rocks. Though 24 hour
> revenge therapy is still my favourite album of theirs.
Mine too, only just got Bivouac the other week sounds good so far though. Just got the new Snuff CD through (unsung London punk heroes)and still getting used the the new Vandals CD but I don't like it as much as their last couple.
Have you got any Further Seems Forever stuff? Just getting into them.
Black Flag Covers: Rise Above (Benefit for the West Memphis 3)
Every song is a cover of a Black Flag (classic 80's US hardcore band) song. I've heard the title track and it was great. Hopefully I'll get the limited edition one from amazon.com that has some kind of bonus spoken word CD I think...
The (International) Noise Conspiracy: 'A new morning, Changing Weather'
(I)NC have Dennis Lxyzen (think thats how you spell it) formerly of Refused singing. He rules. Heard a fair few tracks. While Refused were a kind of progressive hardcore band, (I)NC is more a garage-punk band with a shed load of other influences from jazz to blues to soul thrown in. But from what I've heard they rule. And I should see em live in December (WOHOO!)
Refused: ?
Not sure what Refused stuff to pick up. I'll probably just go for a couple of their earlier albums, as I have the very last album they put out before splitting. Anyway, they rule.
Others?
I may try to get some other CDs, but I'm not really sure what yet. I'll have to see if anything tickles my fancy. Maybe the Red Animal War album... maybe something by Thrice or Thursday... Maybe even try to get some more stuff from the 70's like the Ramones or Clash... who knows...

That's because they had two members of Sunny Day Real Estate in the band.
'I'll Stick Around' is cool.
Anyway, I was gonna get There is Nothing Left to Lose the other day. On the Tesco site they have 2 versions. One is 4.99 and one is 17.99. I dunno what the difference is though. I always like to get the best version of a CD available but if it's a very minor difference for another 10 quid then I won't bother.
If anyone's feeling kind enough to offer some help I'd be mighty appreciative.

You'll have to search for There is nothing left to lose because that's the closest link I can get.

Definately, though I recon their first album was their best. The new one's still pretty good though.
I don't know if I can be bothered with getting the new nirvana album, as I have most of the tunes. hmmmm, decisions...
