If you've brought any CD's recently post them here with the name of both the artist and the actual CD.
And if you listened to it, add you favourite/least-favourite track(s) and briefly what you think of the CD overall.

I'll start off:

Today I brought:

Puddle of Mudd - Control

It's a pretty good CD, better than what I had expected. It's also quite 'grunge-like', and I can see why some people have compared them to Nirvana.
Some lyrics are quite lame like "smack my ass" but the music overall is good. And as for a favourite track, it's too early for me to say.

Vex Red - Start with a Strong and Persistant Desire

I haven't listened to this yet, but i've already heard 'Clone Jesus' and that's one reason as to why I brought it.
I also brought it as I got £5 off when I brought these 2 together! :)

What have you brought??

Lat week i found a Cd I'd been looking for, for ages. Found it on e-bay:

Northside - Chicken Rythms.

Two memeber of the Stone Roses plus a couple of other before they disbanded to form the Roses made this top album with a host of excellent psychaedalia tunes.

Bought Run DMC's greatest hits CD and i have to say it's as fantastic as i thought it would be. All 18 songs are classics and You Talk Too Much is one of the best songs ever.

I went into HMV on Friday and picked up 4 CD's.
They were:

System of a Down - `Steal This`

Great. It may not be a "proper" new album or anything, but I still prefer this to Toxicity. But it's still only in 2nd place behind their first album, mind.

Ill Nino - `Revolution/Revolución`

I've been trying to find this one for ages, and finally I have it!
Brilliant (if you like Ill Nino), that's all I can say. I don't care whether they're nu-metal or not, this is right up-there with Incubus' `Make Yourself` at the top of my CD pile!

Disturbed - `Believe`

I don't have their first album, so I can't compare. I do like this album though, even if a lot of the tracks in the middle sound quite similar...

Staind - `Dysfunction`

I was really looking forward to getting this one, but for £16.99, 9 tracks of misery just isn't what I was expecting from these guys. I'm rather dissapointed now. :( `Break the Cycle`'s still the best of their's I have.

I was annoyed when I got there though. I looked on their website and saw loads of great DVD offers. Got there, and they only had a cheap little clearence sale for the likes of `The Matrix` and `Hannibal` which you either `already have`, or `can only watch once`.
I nearly payed full-price for SOAD's new album too! Untill I noticed a "2 for £22" sticker on the same CD in another section of shelves.
Shame they didn't have Queens of the Stone Age's new album though, or else I would've got that as my other "Album of 2002" instead of Disturbed's.

Won a CD on Ebay, by a London based band called 'Mouthwash' and it's their first album I think... called '1000 dreams'. Got a few decent MP3s. Their kind of garage punk style and have been compared favourably to the Clash. also got a bit of ska/reggae influence in there which is good.

And only cost £3.99

Should get the CD in the post in the next week or so. Mexcellent.

Listen to alot of his riffs and you'll see why.

I can't show him how much he rocks at the Foo Fighters concert because I'm going to Egypt.

Not only that though, he does this head thing and it's like he's in his own world. If you hear SDRE's 'Seven' you'll see how great he is and all of them in there.
