OK OK.... don't know if yo have noticed it but the PSX is one of the worst computers for build quality.
It may clearly be the BEST EVER for quality of games, but there is no point in all the games if the thing don't work.
From day 1 Sony have had to make constant changes to there little bundle of joy.
EVERY ONE i know with a playstation has had a least one problem with it. The common one being a piece of plastice flying off the middle.
By PSX does all of this, over heat, crash, bits of plastic braking off, works slow, can't read CD probley, etc. But the worst thing is i have NEVER cause any damage to the playstation or CDs. The only reason for these problems is cheap components.
Oh and guess what... I phoned up sony and they wanted £40 and my working (just) playstation for a recondintioned one, CHEEK, i could by a brand new one for £70 in specail reserve.
ANY WAY...all i really want is for sony to use better quality parts in the PSX2 'cause i am tired with th PSX being so cheap....

Sony did not make Lara Croft. Eidos Interactive did and they make games for Nintendo, PC, Fony Greystation, Dreampants, etc
Fony copied the Analogue stick as did Dreampants. Think about it. Not long after Nintendo invent it on a home console, it suddenly appears on the Fony Greystation as a Dual Analogue Pad. Hmmmmm!

Ha ha! All you sorry little PS owners want a Playstation 2 - how immature! It has the worst games line up for any console ever and WILL cost over £250. The DVD is a very poor quality one and GT2000 is absolute poo in comparison to Metropolis Street Racer which is appearing on Dreamcast Sept. 8th. In MSR if you are really good, and I mean the BES**T you can win real , yes REAL sports cars! Sony did not create any of these games, they have never made one game, all of their developers have drawn them and made them 3d, and also all these games can be downloaded onto a pc from some sites, oh and resident evil is on the N64 and metal gear solid is on the Game Boy! the only games that you mention that are exclusive to the ps are the babies games made for little kids, these are what many playstation owners call N64 games!! oh no how can this be?
yes I like the ps graphics ok, but very blocky and there are many faults in every games made, don't fault me on this I know there rae, even on MGS! but the only way you can shwo that the graphics are good is on the beginning sequence or between game movies, but these are specially made to look good!

1. Bad graphics? You're just jealous the PS has such good graphics, JUST LIKE THE N64! Take a look at Metal Gear Solid, Fifa 2000, F1 2000, for a start.
