Im trying to get all the dog tags on Metal Gear Soild. Now I need to know were the dog tag is which is inside Arsenal Gear. Because there is one in there, but how and where do you get it. Somebody please tell me.

I think the guard is there when you have to get to Strut A to neutralise the bomb in the deep sea dock.

Other than that, just look on the bridge at different points throughout the game. :-D

That would be better. But that means that people who haven't collected them all could get the URL off somebody who has collected them all. Oh well, just as long as it isn't an infinite oxygen wig!

Stang, it ain`t just Wipeout that Vottanators good at, MGS is another of his specialities!

I`m a fair way back still, but I`m aiming to get all the tags eventually.

About the alternate ending... I haven`t heard anything, but I did find it suspicious that the reward for getting all the tags was like the infinite O2 or something totally unhelpful. It did mention a special website URL that you get given... perhaps that has some code or extra ending type thing...

There aren't alternative endings in the game are there?

Very Easy is the best mode to play on because you get to look like the daddy as you're going round. Knocking on walls, running round the other side and then snapping guards' necks. It doesn't work like that on Extreme. Not for me anyway. :-D

Here is a short passage for what it would be like while I'm trying to navigate the average room in Extreme mode.

ME: Right, if I knock on that wall then that guard should be lured out and I can snap his neck without anyone else noticing.

GAME: *knocks on the wall* 2 guards here it, one at either side.

ME: Oh crap. What the hell am I gonna do now. Don't panic, don't panic. AAAAHHHHHHHHH!

GUARD 1: Enemy sighted! Request back-up unit! (while I'm killing the other guard)

ME: Oh great, here we go.

GAME: Guards come running through door. I run at them and flip, trying to knock them down. In mid air, one of them kicks me and I go flying backwards. They keep shooting me on the floor. I die. JACK! JACK YOU HAVE TO ANSWER ME!! JAAAAAACK!!!


After about another 8 or so deaths....

ME: Hold on....surely I can just run down there when that guard isn't looking.

GAME: Runs across the room when all guards are looking other way. It works. I make it. Then I remember I have to collect their dog tags.....

I once threw a grenade into Emma's face. Still, quite amusing at the time.

Right......24 on the Tanker and 43 on the Plant. That's on Very Easy.

Yup, got all the dog tags on Extreme.

I only need 9 more dog tags in the entire game now. And most of those are on the Tanker as well on Normal and Hard. I only need a few in the Plant on Easy.

And I just tried that last bit again on Extreme. It is SOOO difficult. there are so many men at the end that you get hit every 2 seconds or so. Snake diving around getting himself shot to bits doesn't help either. It would be easier without him. At least then you could really take your time, and just hide behind that block in the last area, aim and whoever comes near - DAKA DAKA DAKA DAKA DAKA.

Of course the second room wouldn't be so easy without Snake. He usually handles everyone.
