As its almost Halloween I thought we could get into the mood a bit and post ghost storys.

-------------

I have heard many story's from people claiming to have seen ghosts, even one which made the local news here. However personally ive never seen one or ever had any kind of indication that they exist, therefore not sure if I believe in them or not.

The question is do you believe in ghosts and have you ever seen any?

Post your wierd and wonderful story's here.

When I was young I went upstairs in my house thinking my parents where up there, all the lights where off, I saw a dark figure looking round my bedroom door at me from the end of the hall, I ran downstairs soooo fast.

Whether it was my mind playing tricks on me I don't know, it scared the hell out of me though.

I wanna see a Ghost though, god that would be an experience, preferably not on my own though.

Once, in my old house, when i was about 4 years old, i saw a ghost float across my bedroom in the middle of the night and dissapear down the side of my bed. I cant remember if i got scared or not, but the image of the ghost floating across is permanently fixed into my mind....

Weird thing is, i've seen this ghost many times in dreams. And i've been seeing the same ghost for years(in dreams). Although I havnt seen it recently. The ghost is all white, its kinda got a bubble hot or somthin on its head....but i cant really recall much more defining features about it.

You might think that perhaps i got confused between the real world and dreamland, but i'm pretty certain I was awake...Although dreams can seem soooooo real sometimes...

Yes. Yes they can.

I'm a firm believer of the existance of both ghosts and aliens, despite never having had any encounters where I saw or thought I saw them. Although, I don't like being on my own outside in the dark or even walking around my house at night without the lights on. Ghosts are just one of those things I believe in. After all, we all have stuff that we believe in, even if we can't prove our beliefs.

Well, i'm not too sure about ghosts but I reckon there must be Aliens and that. I've never actually seen a Ghost, but my dad's always going-on about stuff like that and how he reckons he always sees them and that they've given him messages via a psychic person.

A couple of months back I was sat on the Stairs in our house while my dad was on the phone in the chair at the bottom. He looked-up the stairs and said he saw something shoot across there, but we couldn't see anything after and he didn't know what it was. A while later I suddenly found one of my slippers on my back, when I had left them "safely" at the top of the stairs, and everyone else in my house was downstairs - including my dog.

I don't know how it got there but it kind-of spooked me and it was all I could think about for the next few days. I didn't tell anyone about it because I knew my dad would over-react - being interested in ghosts and that. Slippers can't jump though, can they??

I don't even like LOOKING up the stairs at night when everyone's downstairs after that! Resident Evil's gunna scare me to death I reckon!

If I ever realised I had a ghost in my house, i'd call an Exorcit and leave-it to him! Those kind-of things really get-to-me.

Never seen a Ghost, never seen a UFO.

My two sisters have and I'm the one interested in them.

My girlfriend's house has a ghost cat. I've seen it, her Mum and Dad have seen it and her sister has seen it. I even saw it when Snuggly was round once, so he can vouch that I wasn't dreaming or having a spastic brain-wrong. They've got a regular cat, but it definitely wasn't in the room when I saw this cat - it was upstairs asleep, I went and checked! I always get creeped out in the kitchen, because that's where the old lady who owned the house before died and her body stopped people getting in the back door.

I have my own theories about what ghosts are and they're pretty solid, so I'm not scared of that sort of thing.

Funny you should say that.

Monday night my Boyf was driving me somewhere. I was looking out of the window and as we were driving down a residential road, I someone lying in the gutter by the side of the path. It lookied like a child face down on the road with blonde hair and wearing an adults large red coat. When I did a double take there wasn't anything there. I don't believe in ghosts though. I think I was probably tired and the light and my head were playing tricks on me. It disturbed me for a bit though. I nearly got my Boyf to stop the car, but then I decided not to mention it in case he thought I was mental.
