As its almost Halloween I thought we could get into the mood a bit and post ghost storys.

-------------

I have heard many story's from people claiming to have seen ghosts, even one which made the local news here. However personally ive never seen one or ever had any kind of indication that they exist, therefore not sure if I believe in them or not.

The question is do you believe in ghosts and have you ever seen any?

Post your wierd and wonderful story's here.

We had a ghost/poltergeist in our old house (we moved house because of it). One of the things I remember was that we had a coffee set, it was a wooden stand with coffee cups hung on it. One day we were having dinner and there was a smash, we looked and there was one the coffee cups on the other side of the room smashed to bits. Then one by one they all got flung across the room and smashed against the wall. We had other stuff like foot steps and doors slamming, but we just got used to it. It was after this event that we moved, so yes I believe in ghosts.

And people wonder why parents get upset over the influence games have on the games players?

I can honestly say that seeing something like that at that time of night would have scared me senseless. Not that I'd be out at that time anyway. As I said earlier on in the thread, I'm vary weary (that the right word?) of being out after dark, even with others.

There's a cemetary half-way between mine, and MacDonalds. Me and my mates always go through it to get to Maccys (it's not that scary when you're with someone else, and doesn't scare me at all now, I always go through it).

Anyway, we were walking down a long stretch of road there, talking and whatnot. Then completely out of nowhere, a girl of about 5 rides past us (she was ahead of us, coming towards us; my mate noticed it at first). She was riding an old tricicle, and had all this horrible, posh/victorian decor on, and an equally horrible bonnet on her head. She took no acknowledgement to the fact that there was about 6 of us there; she just kept riding, face facing fowards.

Needless to say, after we pondered the fact of what a 5 year old girl was doing, riding in the cemetary at about 11:30pm, made us realise that we'd seen a ghost. We couldn't run out, as she was riding towards the exit, and we were a bit away from it. So we carried on walking to MacDonalds, and talked about it for a few days afterwards.

(Note: We still go through the cemetary. Most conveniant route to Maccys.)

Anyone seen ukLIVING's Most Haunted program? Well, I rarely watch it as it can be scary stuff sitting in the dark alone downstairs with everyone else asleep, but the two I have watched stuck in my mine. The first was at a guest house somewhere. The crew consists on the cameramen and three main people, two men and a woman. The woman went off by herself. She came face to face with something which SHUT and OPENED a door, right in front of her. Worst thing is it was caught on camera...not technology used! She ran off screaming. Secondly was the Underground show. They set up a beam at London's disused The Strand Underground station. The myph was that a deceased actress was walking the platform each night. Anyway, they were over the over side of the tunnels, pitch black with some 4 inch torch when the beam was broken and the buzzer went off. Again, no technology used. Other signs on both shows pretty much made up my mind for me that ghosts exist. For all you interested in this show, tomorrow night at 8pm on ukLIVING, for the first time, Most Haunted are doing their scariest ever one...and better then that, it's going to be LIVE!

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Impressive control panel
I have to say that I'm impressed with the features available having logged on... Loads of info - excellent.
