As its almost Halloween I thought we could get into the mood a bit and post ghost storys.

-------------

I have heard many story's from people claiming to have seen ghosts, even one which made the local news here. However personally ive never seen one or ever had any kind of indication that they exist, therefore not sure if I believe in them or not.

The question is do you believe in ghosts and have you ever seen any?

Post your wierd and wonderful story's here.

I have beleived in the occult and kept an open mind for along as I can remember and I have seen several strange things.

The first of these, to me, was no doubt a ghost.

I was about 12 when this happened, I remember waking up at bang on 3AM and looking towards my door (Which I used to keep open a crack to let light in) and I saw a little girl push the door slowly open and walk in. At first I thought the girl was my younger sister who will have been 9 at the time, but I reaslised the girl was way too young to be my sister (She looked about 6) She had long blonde hair and was wearing a white nightdress. The figure walked (She didnt float or drift or anything) over to my chair (one of those office type of chairs) as I watched her completely transfixed. She sat on my chair and spun around 3 times, after the third time she faded and disappeared.

I thought I had dreampt this, however my chair was facing outwards (normally I push face it towards my desk) and my bedroom door was fully open, not just a tiny bit like it normally is.

I wasn't greatly scared at the time and thought perhaps it was a scary dream. The next day I thought nothing of it and assumed it was a weird dream, but when I went to sleep the next night, as normal, I woke up at exactly 3AM (again) and the exact same thing happened again. I knew this wasnt a dream this time and was terrified.

I didnt tell anyone the next day, afraid something bad was going to happen. And the next night the same occurance happened, I awoke and 3am, the girl opened the door and spun on the chair 3 times and faded.

I dont quite understand why the ghost was trying to give me the message of the number "3" - With it been at 3AM, Spinning 3 times and occuring for 3 nights in a row. Till this day I have no idea. It hasnt happenedd to me since but I remember it like it was yesterday.

ive seen a ghoast.

first thing. my house is built on an old farm and it is supposed to be haunted its like this one day there was a guy on his tractor cutting the fields and he fell off and he got run over by his tractor and he died. anyway when i was i my sisters room about 2 years ago she said "o my god" and pointed down into my back garden and there i was just stareing at this ghoast on a deck chair rocking back and forwards.

also in cork in ireland when i when i was there. my dad told me about this road we were going and he said the year before when we were there. when he was coming back from a pub (my dad dosent drink, so he wasnt drunk) he saw this kid lying there all faint and he told them and the next night they all saw it and they bobed them selfs. some people have even died in there car there when they saw it, it attact them. apparently

I've never seen a ghost, may or not believe in them, yet to form an opinion, really.

What I have formed an opinion on though is capital letters mid-way or at the end of words, and I think they make the author look like a knob.

Also a week after my grampa died I was sitting in my room when from nowhere this gust passed my nose.

It smelt of my grampa... usually just stale smoke and his dodgy aftershave... but his smell if you get what I mean.

I noticed it straight away and ran about my house... but could only smell it in the corner of my room.

I like to think he was paying me a visit :)

I'm sure I saw a UFO once when I went camping with the Cubs... everybody else thought I was crazy.

My dad's cousin was an air stewardess person thing. She was flying back from Australia when she saw an old woman sitting at the front of plane where meals and stuff are. She talked to her a bit, she said she was just up for a walk, she then asked if she'd like water, so she got her it. Then they talked some more and she asked if my dad's cousin would go tell Mr Williams in seat something that she was okay.

So she found the seat:

" Mr Williams? "

" Yes? "

" I was just speaking to your wife and she says to tell you she is okay "

The man looks quite confused and shocked

" My wife died three days ago, I'm taking her body home on this flight "

So my dad's cousin runs to front of plane where woman has disapeared... she then asked other people if they saw her and they had.

She went insane for a month or so

I thought it was cool

5 of my mates went to somewhere called Belgrave hall in Leicester not sure if any of you have heard of it, it was in the news for possible sightings of ghosts and sounds of someone crying at 1 am and its well known to be spooky. Therefore being the hero's they are they went there and beneath a tree they could see somethng glowing, most of them s**t it and left and 1 of them stayed and went closer, he saw an old woman crying and her face was glowing, he got scared and ran...dont blame him, ive visited the place myself and it looks very scary but never seen or heard anything personally.
