What's the game that's tempted me ? Splinter Cell, looks brilliant and totally excellent. Plus, though I haven't got Broadband yet, I'm seriously impressed by MS's Xbox Live - unlike Sony's plan its clear, has major games support, and there's a definite price for it which seems quite reasonable. On top of that I still want Halo, DOA3, PGR, Buffy, Jetset Radio, Ralisport, Sega GT2002, and a fair few others.
I've belittled Microsoft's console before, but I think this Christmas their are quite a few games there to impress people.
Er...and thats it really. Pretty pointless topic eh ? Just sitting around geting ready to snipe someone on Ebay he he :)

LOL
- Buy PS2 plus games.
- Sell it to get an XBox because you like the look of HALO.
- You miss GT3 so you get a PS2 again, losing lots of money in the process
- Gamecube comes out. You buy one and like it.
- XBox is cheaper now, and Splinter Cell is coming out, so you sell your PS2 again to get an XBox, losing more money.
- Woops, GTA Vice City comes out, and deep down you really want to play The Getaway. So, what do you do?
- Sell your Gamecube to get your 3rd PS2, losing yet more money.
- Oh look, Zelda is coming out on Gamecube, and you want it. So, what do you do?
- Sell your XBox because you are bored of Splinter Cell, get another Gamecube and lose more money.
I think you get the drift. According to the above, you would have ended up with a PS2 (your 3rd) and a Gamecube (your 2nd). But, in the process of swapping about, you have lost more than twice the equivalent of an XBox, plus you have got hardly any games for either of your systems.
You want my advice? If you want to play games on multiple platforms, splash out the cash up-front, and then just buy the games as and when you want/can afford them. Otherwise you'll never be happy, and just lost shed-loads of cash.

It doesn't look particularly good to me anyway :)

But it won't look as good on PS2 as it does on X-Box. ;-)
