Vice City looks awesome with 120 vehicles, 40 weapons, and 9hrs worth of audio in glorous DTS sound the Gamecubes rubbish disc could not even hold the audio not to mention having no Dolby sound anyway.
Still never mind Pokemon is coming and we all know the quality of that has been series.

Just for the sake of argument, I stuck my GTA3 disc in my PC.
GTA3 took 4.37GB
Vice City is bigger.
So at a guess... no, it wouldn't fit.
Unless they did different areas on separate discs - but that would be a bit of a pain, and really balls up the gameplay.

Starts not to be fun, because it is fun? Oh dear.....
We've all had enough of it, and let's just say that we can all easily out-argue you. Except Ant - he likes Red Faction. :-D

Tricky one this. If we were to assume that all the audio within the game is full DTS and of full quality (no compression), full DVD bit rate as well. Then add in the rest of the "upgrades" like the extra vehicles, larger city area's, etc, then I cant see how it would fit onto a single 1.5Gb GC disc.
However, if you were to take all those novelty radio stations, make them just plain Stereo, and compress them, that would save a lot of space. You would have the option of doing the same with the game audio if you needed to. As for all the extra vehicles, and City scape's, then I suppose it's possible to compress and encode them in such a way that one of the GC co-processors could decode/decompress on the fly (ie, as the file is taken from disc, and sent to the tv). I know the GC has a lot of co-processing tech, but I couldn't say for sure without a detailed knowledge of it.

HAAAAHAAAHAAAAAHAAAAAA!!!!!!! No. Nobody knows the 'meaning' anymore. There never really was one was there? Only to have fun..and oh! It still does do that. Fool.

I think you missed something.
