I never really like them since they changed to their big version of the magazine. Also what I find hard to beleive is that they completed the game in 15 hours, that and Eternal Darkness (well it might be possible for ED).
I really hope that they can redeem themselves from this, because the rest of the magazine is good but not the best. I find CUBE to be the best so far, NOM is good because of their walkthroughs and tips section, G-force because of it's free DVD with every issue (hopefully it will have a DVD with Starfox video clips on it).

Again Nintendo didn't polish it, they didn't even finish testing, Rare needed to finish the game before the buy out announcement and so bugs still exist in the game such as fireing ammo you didn't put into your staff and tricky walking through walls.
But NGC clearly state why they don't like it... but also remember they said Doshin was good and gave it 62% and SEGA soccor slam is a wicked multiplayer game and gave it 69%. They do like Starfox... they were just dissapointed that the game features so much backtracking and it was so short from what they were hoping.
Not the Zelda they were expecting.

Nintendo games are always different. Everyone knew Turok Evolution was going to be terrible and NGC were the only people hyping it up at all. They probably are just bitter, and thinking that isn't weird - it's common sense.
When NOM's review comes through, then we'll see.

I've owned the game for a good month and a bit and I found it boring to be honest. After a good 8-9 hours play, I couldn't find the incentive to go back to it. There isn't much exploration to be done. It just seems, well, all very contrived.
I know a few who have enjoyed it for the game that it is. But if your expecting a hum-dinger of a game, then I think you'll be disappointed.
NGC's 71% and Edge's 6/10 is a fair score IMO.

Or maybe they simply gave it the score they thought it deserved? Just because a game is surrounded by hype, it doesn't mean that the finished product is going to be brilliant. Just look at Turok Evolution, for example. NGC followed it for months, all the while clearly stating how brilliant it was looking... then when it arrives, they stamp 71% on it and call it "lame compared to Timesplitters 2".
In the end, NGC scored the game based on their opinion of it, and the whole Rareware being bought by Microsoft thing was probably just a coincidence. Having a go at NGC simply because they didn't like a game is, quite frankly, weird.

I see, but Nintendo probably fined tuned and polished it all. I'm expecting it to be a great game - NGC are just nitpicking because Rare have gone.

Oh it isn't 50/50 because Rare had based it nearly entirley over Dinosaur Planet... Rare were asked to change it... in the transition Nintendo helped to change it... Nintendo helped organize the flying levels and that was it... the premise of the game was by Rare.
I feel the game does have problems, NGC aren't the only ones to spot it other websites have too...
Question is... do i trust CUBE again?

Nintendo were with them right from the start, you see. It's just because everyone said it was Rare's First GC Project, everyone forgot it was a 50/50 development.

Damn hard to guess - try the obvious.
