I got NGC editon 74 yesterday and after reading their review of SFA I am outraged by it, I have totally begun to distrust every single Review that they will be posting in the future after I read this certain review. They always try to find something to go on about the game in a non likeable perspective, like it's tedious and it's not really original.
I never really like them since they changed to their big version of the magazine. Also what I find hard to beleive is that they completed the game in 15 hours, that and Eternal Darkness (well it might be possible for ED).

I really hope that they can redeem themselves from this, because the rest of the magazine is good but not the best. I find CUBE to be the best so far, NOM is good because of their walkthroughs and tips section, G-force because of it's free DVD with every issue (hopefully it will have a DVD with Starfox video clips on it).

By the way, I read Edge's review, and it's mainly criticising the game for being too linear. It also mentions that the only incentive for the player to keep on playing is for the graphics, and the combat is pretty repetitive, limiting battles to one enemy at a time (with the others waiting for their turn).

And just in case any of you reply complaining of bias, there's a picture of the Xbox's Xray with the title "Operation Xbox" on the front cover, which was slightly funny when I first saw it.

I'm sorry, but you have to respect their views, they say its a linear game, so its basically an rpg on rails and a zelda clone. all prettified. hmmm,, just like resi on gamecube come to think of it:)

Because no one wanted to play the actual game, they were just chatting, so I told everyone to use the internet for that, and play games on their Dreamcasts, but no one understood, because they were all German's, who's only English phrase was "no english". As long as you can use the American servers it will be okay, because none of them wanted to chat (they were all nerds), they just wanted to play the game seriously. Don;t get me wrong, I like to chat, but I think it should be seperate from games such as PSO.

!! I did basically use PSO as a chat room, But that was hard to miss cos of the chat features!! Anyway, i did get into a clan and worked my way up to lvl 100 as u know...And alot of people know cos i'm been repeating that alot... However, Why do u think that it'll suffer cos of chatters? How would chatters effect the game...!! heh??

..soz...Got a bit hyped there...

If the Gamecube's statistics were more powerful then everyone would get that insated of the PS2 and Xbox.
People only care about the stats and the stuff that doesn't really count, that why some poeple got the Xbox, Then they realised it was a peice of s**t and got the PS2 instead.
I think this has something to do with Starfox somewhere..... oh well it's a good explaination of the increas of Xbox sales in the beginning of the first few months.
