Anyway, I decided to go into the usual High street Gaming shops just to see what games are out/priced. So I went into Gamestation, and too my astonishment the Xbox stand was crowded with people, mainly browsing the games and the brand new "Sega Xbox Pack" i saw 4 people buying the Xbox and many people purchasing games. One bloke asked me if I had one, we got talking and i recommended getting The Xbox Pack, Halo and an extra controller, he is now a proud owner of the big black machine we all love.
I felt pleased that alot of intrest is being put into the console. So i went into Game, And MORE people were crowded around the Xbox area, buying games and Xbox's and various other items.
Microsoft must of done something right by doing that deal with Sega, Its excellent value and if I did'nt have an Xbox, i'd go out and buy one!
I picked up a few Xbox leaflets from the counter and asked the bloke about pre-ordering Splinter Cell. I decided to buy a Reward Card whilst I was at it, So now I have a nice copy of Splinter Cell put to the side for me AND i'll get Double reward points for it.
I think people are starting to trust the console and expressing more intrest in it.

times that by the amount of parents that will ask him which is the best console and you have my general view.
In my local GAME, all the XBOX games have been relegated to the back of the shop, and the XBOX terminal is nearly always switched off.
The damn shop is run by Ninty fanboys I tell you!
But if I had the option to choose between the controller S and the official pad when i brought my Xbox, i'd go for the CS.
Seriously, though, if you compare the Xbox with PS2 or GC, it's a classic example of the difference between US and Japanese lifestyles.
With a few exceptions, it's the same as their cars. What the Americans consider a 'compact' (such as the Dodge Neon) is bigger than many Japanese cars.
The Japanese go for the smaller, sleeker designs, while the US go for the extravagant 'bigger is better' idea.
> the S-Controller
I'd like MS to offer a trade-in on those, but I doubt very much it will happen.
I for one will be trading all three of my controllers for the smaller model!
I looked at figures today.
:) Just to let you know.
