You can't take other peoples opinions, you're patronizing and most of all you're annoying. Act this way in the real world and the firt thing you'll be getting is a swift kick to the jacobs....unless you've had that operation you where talking about.....

Good to see you come around to my way of thinking
you know it makes sense.
Enough already.
This is not just me that thinks this way, the public and industry are also fed up with the countless and less face it needless upgrades and over the last 18months there has been a sharp decline in the number of new PC's sold.
It is not I have anything against PC's I even have one which I use to go on the net, 5 years old though but that's is all I need, it does spread sheets, word processing, has photoshop and so on so why do I need my PS2 to do that? I use that for games and watching dvd's a bit like the other 40million people.
To design anything, you have to use a PC. Expect to see the higher end studios to be running UNIX, SPARC work stations, while the lower end struggle by on "normal" PC's.
I couldnt do my job on a PS2, I *need* a computer. Thing is though, by sticking with the console for games, the PC stays freed up from game data and stuff, and I can do my job even if my computer is not right upto date. If I were to start using it for all games, that would change. I would have to upgrade a lot more just to run the latest games, etc.

I wasn't talking about ports you fanboy. All console game developers (PS2, Xbox, GameCube) primarily use PCs (with the console connected) to develop their games.
I'll spell it out, because you are obviously hard of thinking...
Without PCs (which you seem to hate so much) you wouldn't be able to play console games.
*sigh*
Anyway, I’ve had enough. I hate fanboys at the best of times.
Oh and if you expect me to believe you have a Lexus, then you must think I came down in the last shower sunshine. Someone with such a blinkered, narrow and small-minded view on the world outside his bedroom can barely be old enough to leave school, let alone drive a car of any kind.
