ive wanted on of these for ages but cant really afford it, bu if this was released outside of japan then it would be the number 1 console no questions, its the most beautiful peice on hardware ever! and it plays dvds of all regions, and uk/japan/usa games,

Oh well Insane you have proved something to be right PC gaming is for people that spend more time trying to upgrade their PC's to play games than actually playing them. At least every game that comes out on my PS2 is specifically designed for that machine and not some sort of comprimise. Then again the same could be said about your GC most of the games on that are ported PS2 games that don't work as well ie. SSX tricky and NFS, never mind as long as your'e happy.

I would be tempted to get an XBOX if I didn't have a PC you know.

£206 is about the same as a regular GC and basic DVD player. But you could buy a PS2 (with built in DVD player for movies and games) for £169. OR, an XBox for about £159. Both cheaper options than buying GC + DVD player or buying a "Q".
