I'll tell you something interesting:
The sole reason my TV stays on Beeb1 after I flick to that trash, is for a nubile "strawberry" blonde presenter who occasionally forces Lizo out of the studio, I forget her name - but she's quite nice. ;)
There you go, that can be a good start for their new trend in proper current affairs stories; "Pointless Babble refers to female Newsround presenter as sex object, anti-sexist movement in progress".
I like to know I'm giving back to the community. ;)

I know, that one took me a good 45 minutes to think up.
I'm on a roll tonight.
> Lezbo is such a gimp.
Great material. :D Totally agree, his obsession with Harry Potter caused me to write a whole bloody spoof Newsround show on the Movies forum.
And the e-mails he reads! Grr!
"Now lets take a look at some of your valid opinions that have been reaching our inbx. Daniel, who's 12, says we shouldn't go to school because it's boring."
If there's one person on TV that needs a slap then it's Lezo.
What a flippin pr***, he must get so much hate mail every week.
Give me John Craven and his knitted sweates any day over gimp man.
I very much doubt they'll reply or even read it all, but I commend your effort. {:)
They'll just talk about Harry Potter for 15 minutes, because we all love Harry Potter.
E-Mail follows:
This is a bit of a rant e-mail in regards to the recent story you aired on the "racist" content of a game titled Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, and the offense it had caused people of the Sikh religion.
I'd like to start out by making it clear that I hold your programme in a dim enough view already, as it is, dueto the amount of inane and inconsequential junk you qualify as news. It seems to me on more occasions than not, that your programme is merely patronising youthes, billing itself as news for kids when all the while you intentional "dumb things down" and report on rather lacking events. I find that in itself offensive, and think you should credit them with a little more maturity and intelligence, than just assuming them a bunch of mindless sheep who only care about Harry Potter and S-Club Juniors; *especially* if you seem to believe that feeding them sensationalism about terrorist and racial undertones in anything and everything present in today's commerce.
Normally when I have the misfortune of flicking channels to find Newsround is still on, I take what content lacking stories are being read with a pinch of salt, there are however numerous occasions where it appears your presenters are trying to be real journalists for a change - and as such they usually make a pig's ear of it, citing events with little to no factual content whatsoever.
Onto the matter at hand methinks...
You aired a story on Hitman 2, citing it as a racist game where the sole purpose is to massacre everyone on each level, and drawing a large amount of attention to the level involving a Sikh temple. Quite frankly I found your story outrageous, as while I'm the first person to speak out against prejudice behaviour or views when there *are* cases of either taking place, your vitriolic spew on this subject was way off target.
Point 1) Your story was claiming that children of the Sikh religion were taking offense at this game, and even showed video footage of two boys no older than 15yrs of age, playing the game whilst a voiceover of another complained about how the game made sport of their religion and branded them all as terrorists.
Retort 1) I would like to draw to your attention this: The game has an 18 certificate, it is for mature audiences only, *NOT* children. Would you mind explaining to me exactly what you were doing showing children under the age of 18 playing a game illegaly? How did they obtain this? Why are you condoning this behaviour by neglecting to mention this fact, and furthermore, why did you provide a games console and a copy of the game to play for an interview to two children? I find that irresponsible, and I'm sorry if it causes you a little embarassment, but it writes off your entire argument completely in one fell swoop - you were advocating the violating of UK censorship laws, by paying them no heed at all.
Point 2) On the issue of the games aim being to massacre hordes of innocents on each level, how the aim of the Sikh temple level is too kill "everyone wearing a turban".
Retort 2) Another poorly researched and erroneous comment. Your first clue to this should've been in the game's title: Hitman 2 *SILENT* Assassin. Had you done your research correctly, instead of half-heartedly getting some poor kid on work experience with no prior knowledge on the series of games to do it for you, you would have noted that the entire aim of this game is exactly the opposite of "massacre everyone". The game not only expects you to, but enforces the view that you must *NOT* kill everyone in the level, your purpose is to assassinate but one person or target per level - no more. Your performance is rated on your ability to fulfill a contract killing in a professional manner, which means not mindlessly killing crowds, and attempting to traverse it unseen and unnoticed. This applies to the level in question too, so it is far from some genocidal massacre, as your reporter Lizo so billed it in his story.
Point 3) On the remark that games like this are the cause of genocidal killings, and racially prejudice behaviour.
Retort 3) I'm sorry, but these games have no bearing on this. Anyone who plays a videogame is it most cases entirely aware of the differences between right and wrong, or rather - anyone who was brought up well by their parents of guardians. These people may like to play a game like GTA3, but how many of them do you actually believe go straight from putting their controller down, to hijacking someone's car, maiming several police officers, and committing acts of felony? The answer is none, if I've managed to confuse you already.
What *DOES* cause this behaviour is quite simple, mental dysfunction, which is usually caused by a poor upbringing. So while your normal gamer can play these games and still know the difference between right and wrong, your disturbed one may act on it, again - due to poor parenting skills. To be more blunt, perhaps the lacking parenting skills of someone, who would for example sit their child infront of a gaming system and TV set all day instead of spending time with them. Or illegally purchase a game rated as 18 for their underaged offspring, HINT HINT HINT... are we beginning to see what I'm getting at here?
Point 4) On the comment from one of the children illegally playing the game, that the game is indicating to people that whoever wears a turban is a terrorist.
Retort 4) Correct me if Im wrong here, but the last time I checked it was against the law to murder anyone, which also goes for hired killers - they're criminals. I don't recall any law stating that anyone wearing a turban is a criminal by default, unless I've been paying very little attention over the past months, and the government has decided to allow the BNP to voice it's views of racial harmony.
Allow me to simplify this for you further, as it's apparent to me that your team can't be too gifted when it comes to logical analysis, taking into account this story was ever aired in the first place. In hitman 2, you play the role of a criminal, in the level you mentioned Sikhs can be killed. Would you mind telling me just which of these two things is the closest to the description of "terrorist" for me:
Murdering criminal
Innocent Sikh
Take your time, I don't want any rush answers, and if it helps matters any you can phone a friend - be my guest.
Point 4) On racially prejudice content.
Retort 4) It strikes me as odd that both you and the children you actively had break the law deem it ok, and appropriate to kill christians in large quantities, but scream bloody murder when the same thing happens on a level containing Sikhs. That's right! There's a level in Hitman 2 featuring a christian church! Guess what, it's possible to kill the people in there too! Why exactly was it overlooked that this obvious case of racial and theologic hatred towards the religion of Christianity is also present within the game? If anything I would state that if the Sikh level is racist, and the people who play it are too, then the children you had violate the law for you on national television are racist too; so if you'll pardon my deliberate poor taste when I choose my phrase here: Isn't this a case of the pot calling the kettle black?
This may come as a shock to you, but it's exactly the kind of behaviour and ignorance that you have shown in this report, that causes racial disharmony and insular prejudices within the UK. There are two types of prejudice, the first being mindless and ignorant name calling, which hurts feelings. The second being calm, collected, and even civil distaste of other cultures - this one has had a history of managing to manipulate people into riots and racist demonstrations, it's also cost people lives, and while the former may cause hurt feelings, this one causes actual physical damage. So let's brand Hitman 2 as racially prejudice, heck while we're at it - we'll label the makers of the game; Eidos as that too. Wait a moment, in the Grand Theft Auto series you kill people of the afro-american lineage... that makes Rockstar Games (a sub dividision of DMA design) racist too. Both of these companies are English, so that makes the English all prejudice, we obviously all hate muslims and think that they're all terrorists - so let's just go to war over it. You see? It may look like a harmless comment from your point of view, but it *always* snowballs into something of a larger scale, maybe it's time you did a news story on the fact that the majority of Great Britian abhor the idea of going to war and find their prime minister to be making a stupidly fool hardy mistake. For a democracy we're certainly getting listened to a great deal at the moment, aren't we?
By the way, I thought you might find this interesting too, it's the direct result of your story on the general public and sales of Hitman 2; you've not only promoted it but given Eidos free advertising at the same time. Take a look at this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/ eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=803347001 people are already starting to cash in on your efforts, so not only was your story entirely flawed and unbased, but you've successfully managed to achieve the exact opposite of what you originally intended to do. Well done.
If it's not too much to ask, I would like to request that you have Lizo do a follow-up to the story, and this time explain the FULL background on the game- bringing up the points I have made visible to you above. You don't have to make an apology for your mistake, but providing the entire spectrum of the story for your viewers allows them to make their own minds up on the topic, rather than being told what to think by some patronising tv programme; that seems to categorise them as mindless sheep who are incapable of understanding real current affairs news.
Yours,

I still think that was to just pacify me and put my toys back in my pram.
Worked though.
